  1. Visa was issued in December. We are back in the States since January.
  2. We did not schedule our appointment, the embassy gave us the date. We have been told by the support desk that the embassy will not send the passport out unless we have a profile and indicate there where we want to pick up the passport. I don’t want to schedule anything. He had his appt in November and visa was issued on 12/19
  3. The embassy sent us an email on the 30th basically stating that they are ready to send his passport out but cannot because he hasn’t created a profile. I responded explaining what was happening and gave them the address of the DHL location where we would like the passport to be sent. They have not answered but his case was updated yesterday and we have not received any notification regarding his passport.
  4. He went for his interview in November. At that time, we approached one of the private services outside the embassy so that they could help us create the profile. When we used his email address to create the account and register the interview appointment, the system gave us a message that said “The case number is not ready to schedule an appointment.” The person then tried to make another profile with my email address, and we received the same message. We couldn’t continue registering the appointment. Since then, we have talked to the Support Desk of AIS.usvisa many times and we are still getting the same message. Because of this, he is not able to choose a location to pick up his passport.
  5. My husband’s visa was issued since dec 19, however, we haven’t been able to create a profile in the new visa appointment scheduling system and he hasn’t been able to pick up his passport. I have been in communications with the support desk since November to fix this issue with no success. His case is old, since 2021 when the consulate was working with ustraveldocs. Has anyone gone through this nightmare and if so, what worked? TIA.
  6. @Giby yay!!!!! Congratulations!!!! We heard that the embassy is short on personnel and that it will take a few weeks. Thank you for letting me know and safe travels to your husband!
  7. @Giby thank you very much for your responses! Will keep you posted. You and your husband are in my prayers.
  8. No. It will only be 2 weeks tomorrow. I will next week. @Giby What does your status say? Mine is Ready since interview day.
  9. My husband has both approved as well. He doesn’t need the 212 though, according to the CO. Praying for a prompt answer for both. Please keep me posted.
  10. @Giby did your spouse get his visa yet? My husband had the interview on 11/21 and still waiting. He has an I-601A
  11. Can you please let us know when your fiancé gets her visa issued? My husband had the interview the same day as your finance, also in Tegus, and he was also given the slip with “your visa is approved” and also told one week and we are waiting. I hope we get it soon!
  12. I did call them, and they mentioned that they help when you have technical problems scheduling the interview. They couldn’t help me because that was not my case. I’m sorry about the delayed response.
  13. I’m sorry you are going through this. The embassy gave me this number at one point and when I called they said they are a help desk for people who have technical issues when scheduling appointments: 2262-0246. It’s a Honduran number. I hope it helps.
  14. Did you complete your re-oath appointment already?
  15. Hi, I'm posting our journey, even though is not over yet, in hopes that it will help someone, as I have looked in this forum for the past 3 years looking for information that could help us and have been very grateful for the people that have posted their journeys. I'm the petitioner, a US citizen. My husband is Honduran. He entered the US without inspection in 2004 and remained until 2021. In 2005, he did not show for his deportation court because he did not receive the NTA and was ordered deported in absentia. He remained in the US. We met in 2011 and got married in 2013. I-130 was approved in 2017; I-212 and I-601A were approved in 2018 and 2020 respectively. He travelled from the US to Honduras in September 2021 as interview was set for October 2021. His visa was denied at the interview under INA (212)(a)(6)(B) because he failed to appear to his deportation court in 2005, placing the 5-year bar that has no waiver. In July 2022, our attorney filed for prosecutorial discretion to dismiss my husband's deportation order, which the IJ granted in January 2023. In February 2023, our attorney requested a reconsideration to the embassy with the new dismissed deportation order. in March 2023, the embassy reiterated that my husband had to remained outside the US for 5 years for not attending immigration court, he needed to apply for an I-601 for being unlawfully present (which had been waived with the I-601A), and he also needed to apply for an I-212 to request consent to re-apply (which had been approved and sent to Tegucigalpa since 2018). Our attorney then contacted LegalNet in February 2024 and requested a review of the consular decision. As far as I know, we have not received and answer from LegalNet yet; but last September we received an email from the consulate requesting my husband to obtain the medical exam, police record and update DS-260 and to email them back when we had all the documents to schedule a re-oath appointment. We have gathered everything and notify the embassy as of last week. How long will it take the embassy to schedule the appointment? Does this mean that he will get his visa this time? Thank you very much for your help. I hope this helps someone going through the same. God bless.
