  1. We did not schedule our appointment, the embassy gave us the date. We have been told by the support desk that the embassy will not send the passport out unless we have a profile and indicate there where we want to pick up the passport. I don’t want to schedule anything. He had his appt in November and visa was issued on 12/19
  2. The embassy sent us an email on the 30th basically stating that they are ready to send his passport out but cannot because he hasn’t created a profile. I responded explaining what was happening and gave them the address of the DHL location where we would like the passport to be sent. They have not answered but his case was updated yesterday and we have not received any notification regarding his passport.
  3. He went for his interview in November. At that time, we approached one of the private services outside the embassy so that they could help us create the profile. When we used his email address to create the account and register the interview appointment, the system gave us a message that said “The case number is not ready to schedule an appointment.” The person then tried to make another profile with my email address, and we received the same message. We couldn’t continue registering the appointment. Since then, we have talked to the Support Desk of AIS.usvisa many times and we are still getting the same message. Because of this, he is not able to choose a location to pick up his passport.
  4. My husband’s visa was issued since dec 19, however, we haven’t been able to create a profile in the new visa appointment scheduling system and he hasn’t been able to pick up his passport. I have been in communications with the support desk since November to fix this issue with no success. His case is old, since 2021 when the consulate was working with ustraveldocs. Has anyone gone through this nightmare and if so, what worked? TIA.
  5. @Giby yay!!!!! Congratulations!!!! We heard that the embassy is short on personnel and that it will take a few weeks. Thank you for letting me know and safe travels to your husband!
  6. @Giby thank you very much for your responses! Will keep you posted. You and your husband are in my prayers.
  7. No. It will only be 2 weeks tomorrow. I will next week. @Giby What does your status say? Mine is Ready since interview day.
  8. My husband has both approved as well. He doesn’t need the 212 though, according to the CO. Praying for a prompt answer for both. Please keep me posted.
  9. @Giby did your spouse get his visa yet? My husband had the interview on 11/21 and still waiting. He has an I-601A
  10. Can you please let us know when your fiancé gets her visa issued? My husband had the interview the same day as your finance, also in Tegus, and he was also given the slip with “your visa is approved” and also told one week and we are waiting. I hope we get it soon!
  11. I did call them, and they mentioned that they help when you have technical problems scheduling the interview. They couldn’t help me because that was not my case. I’m sorry about the delayed response.
  12. I’m sorry you are going through this. The embassy gave me this number at one point and when I called they said they are a help desk for people who have technical issues when scheduling appointments: 2262-0246. It’s a Honduran number. I hope it helps.
  13. Did you complete your re-oath appointment already?
