Our Story
many of my friends always ask about how me and my future bride....for them it's like a movie made in hawaii romance...i can still remember as if it was yesterday....to tell you the truth it was all all be accident i met her....
it was a late night on march 11, 2006.....there was a party at my friends apartment...i decided to spend the night, but i got locked out of the room...so, i decided to go back home...
when i woke up the next morning (march 12, 2006) i realized that i forgot my tool bag at her dorm....since had to go back to waikiki to pick up my tool bag i brought my bodyboard to surf...i got there i saw that her and her other firends was going to to go shopping....i decided to drop them off....i walked a few minutes with them and i decided to go the beach.....
i was not expecting much at the beach...probably no waves, but it was the weekend....i did not care...caught some waves, it was alright...then i caught this one wave....there was a girl riding the same wave as me....i did not want to run her over so i decided to cut back and let her have it....
as i went back to catch another she said to me that she was sorry...i told her don't worry about it.....she smiled at me telling me that i was a good surfer....i smiled back and i said "no no"....she laughed....i caught another wave and i saw her looking at me....
after riding the wave i saw her going back on shore....i was building up the courage to talk to her...i summed it all paddled in...i walked passed by her to play it cool...as we was at the showers...she told me again that i was a good surfer....i shy, she was shy....i asked for her name...i told her mines....without hesitation i asked her out for dinner....for my surprise she said yes....
we talked over dinner....she was a tourist from japan..she comes to hawaii every three months....we exchanged stories...language slangs...it felt so nice.....
after dinner she wanted to go to a scenic point....i took her....it was a overview of all of waikiki...and that's where we had our first kiss...i asked her that if i can meet her the next day for surfing...she said ok....
next day, i went to meet her at her hostel, but she wasn't there...i was debating to just leave and forget...i went back to my car, but something pulled me back....i went back left my number hoping that she would call....
she called that night apologized...i told her it was ok....we made another surf appointment....so the next day we surf together....we enjoyed our time together surfing...when took her back to her hostel, we exchanged email addresses....still now i have the sheet she gave me....
from that point on we have been together....we emailed each other everyday, if not email we talked onilne using yahoo messenger....now we use skype....we talk to each everday...we have been visiting each other...
finally met her parents, got the approval...now working on the wedding in japan and the immigration petition...
sorry for the lack of college grade grammer and structure...i like to tell the story in my own way....
