Dear all,
I am getting a CR1 visa through my wife. We will need a visa for living in the US for a couple of years, then we will go back to Europe and live there. I have all my properties and investments in Europe, and I know the IRS treats investments in Europe very bad taxation-wise, so I would avoid tax reporting as much as possible. Is anyone aware if with a CR1 visa, if I have not moved yet to the US, I have to report taxes to the IRS, if if this happens only once I enter the US and I immigrate?
