Hi! So basically we got our NOA2 in June, the NVC letter saying they sent our case in September. Our case status was "ready" on August 20th on the CEAC website. (Over 3 months since our petition was approved)
Assuming I would receive my instructions letter from the London embassy shortly (as it's been awhile) | scheduled my medical and interview, and I had my medical on the 30th Sept. My interview is supposed to be the 15th October (next week).
However, I am getting in quite a panic now because I STILL haven't received any letter from the London immigration unit which it says I should take to my interview. It's been almost 2 months since my case was
"ready" and I received the NVC letter. I have contacted the IV unit 3 times through the contact form but no reply whatsoever. I've also read that people have never received a letter or anything!
I was wondering if other people in the UK that have recently had their interview ever got this letter and whether they needed it on the day of the interview? I don't know what to do as it would crush me to be sent away on the day of the interview because of this
Thanks for reading!
