  1. I actually just noticed there are also some questions MISSING/NOT APPEARING on the form, but on review page they are unanswered these are the questions: I don’t have these questions in my DS260 form which are in other Applicants’ DS260 forms 1- Is your mother’s address the same as your father’s? (Yes/No) 2- Have you belonged to, contributed to, or worked for any professional, social, or charitable organization? 3- Do you have any specialized skills or training, including firearms, explosives, nuclear, biological, or chemical experience? 4- Have you ever served in, been a member of, or been involved with a paramilitary unit, vigilante unit, rebel group, guerrilla group, or insurgent organization? 5- Can you speak and/or read languages other than your native language? Do I still just submit? i can't find any answers.
  2. Hello, I just had a frustrating issue right before submitting DS-260 form for my spouse. When we review form before submitting (review format), we noticed that one of the questions ["Is your mother's address the same as your father's?"] is showing up as unanswered but when we look at the actual online form, the question doesn't appear as an option to respond to. I searched online and saw someone posted the same issue on reddit, but no solution: Please advice, i don't want to submit with missing info but i don't see the question on the form. thanks.
  3. yes i know, thank you. I just thought i could provide the WHOLE address on info sheet. Unfortunately, even with the abbreviations it won't fit. I tried with handwrite as well.
  4. Dear people, i just don't know if my approach is acceptable here. My spouse's foreign address is really long and there is really no short way of writing it. Also, address has some characters like -,+ and form doesn't allow me to type it. I can't even fit it if I try to hand write it. Please see my approach to overcome this. I typed "REFER TO LAST PAGE" and I wrote full address there. Would this be okay?
  5. I downloaded my 1040 tax transcript from IRS website, form is the 24a-c asking for total income on page 2, or adjusted gross income on page 3 of the transcript? please see screenshot for what i am referring to. on the transcript there are two incomes, one for total income, another for adjusted gross income. which number/field should be entered on form i-864 many thanks!!
  6. Hello again guys! I was wondering if you could help me fill out our form i864 again. I think I know where we screwed up, and I just want to make sure that we get it right this time. My hubby is my sponsor (no joint sponsors), and he's sponsoring only me. No parents, no siblings, no child. So on part 3, item 29 we should write "1", right? Then, off to section 5: persons you are sponsoring on this affidavit, 1. What confuses me is the section "Persons NOT sponsored in this affidavit". What should we put in "yourself"? And also, if you are currently married, enter 1 for your spouse. Yes, he's married to me, but if I put 1 in there our household size becomes 3(but we are only 2, wife and husband). What should I write there? Would somebody be so kind so as to help me, please?
  7. thank you for answer! it makes me feel good. just to confirm, i filed my 2023 taxes "married filing seperatly" i had W2 and 1099 last year, and i was full time employed (W2) and some freelance(1099) For financial documents: 2023 IRS tax return transcript, Employment letter with salary Last 3 months paychecks is this all enough? just checking before submitting, so much thanks.
  8. Hello, i am full time employed and self-employed (freelance designer) at the same time. my w2(full time job) has income over 80k. I had 7-8 1099s from my employment. I am submitting IRS tax transcript and employement verification letter with my salary. Do i have to submit ALL 1099s for all last 3 years? OR is it fine/enough to upload: 1 - IRS tax transcript for last 3 years, 2 - 2023 W2 (has enough income to be sponsor) 3 - Employment verification letter? *No 1099 any advise is appreciated. Jahra
