  1. Hi all. As the topic said, we are wondering if I need to go to my K1 interview in London with originals of petitioner’s documents or the scanned sent to me will be good enough? Especially divorce certificate (and also affidavit of support, tax returns). If scanned copies are okay, do they need to be signed by petitioner? Answers and suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks.
  2. File now. The process takes ages and it’s taking longer recently. You’ll definitely meet more before the visa interview which is where the real questions comes up.
  3. Thank you. Explaining the answers to questions about it hopefully won’t be a problem as we are very genuine and should be able to explain everything. I appreciate your response
  4. Hi all. The subject of this post almost says it all but a little more details. We applied for our K1 visa (submitted petition) around the end of July. Some situations occurred in the past couple of weeks (including work commitment) which led to the petitioner reaching out to USCIS to withdraw our petition, but now things are clearer and we wish to carry on with the application again. Can we reach out to them yet again that we want to carry on with the petition (even us know that that's a really weird move), if we do reach out to them, won't it affect our chances?? Will they even listen to us this time? It's just a few days between the petitioner reaching out to withdraw and now, and the status of the petition remains the same on the USCIS website, although we know that takes a time to change even after the status of application has actually changed. We haven't reached out to them yet about our change of mind as we are thinking of the best way to approach this but we literally have to continue with the application. Advices, opinions and comments are all welcome. Thanks all.
