  1. So we went the consular processing route. We just followed the attorney. Now just need information on how much longer to wait since the interview
  2. We followed our attorney. At this point we just need to move on. Do you know how long it takes in refusal usually?
  3. He adjusted. All applications were approved in the U.S. before he left to Brazil for his interview.
  4. With his immigration papers approved in the U.S, he went to Brazil for his interview on Aug 1st and on the interview they said their visa was approved.
  5. In the U.S. which is absolutely false. Even in Brazil they have the police reports, clear and clean. They did not send any other emails requesting. We ran updated ones and emailed them. However they did update the last updated date, yet with the same refusal status. What do you know about this?
  6. @Crazy Cat have you heard of something like this before?
  7. They said their system showed a felony but that is absolutely not true. They said they were investigating but if we wanted, we could provide further documents. So we did. Then after 4 weeks, they updated the “last updated date” but still says refused and no new email to us. I’m just praying they don’t need any more proof and discovered their error and are processing it soon…
  8. They said the background check revealed felony and we know very well that is not true. But after I sent them an updated background check they did not say anything else. Just updated last Friday the new updated date but did not email us or ask for anything else. But still says refused.
  9. We are left to wonder how long the AP takes and what steps are involved. The lack of communication freaks one out. Have you had a similar situation?
  10. What I don’t understand is why they would open the file and not to something about it, or maybe they are doing (whatever they don’t communicate clearly). Maybe it’s a good thing that they’re looking at it even though not documenting or emailing anything new to us…?
  11. Hello, My husband had his interview on August 1, 2024 in Rio. They said everything was approved, however 3 weeks later they emailed saying that they needed to investigate more their system and if we had any further documents to send, to email. We did email more to prove that the information in their system was not correct. Because of their "investigation" they changed the status from approved to refused. This happened on August 29, 2024. Yesterday, September 25, they further updated the "last case updated" date but it still says refused, however this time around they did not send any email. Trying to understand why they would update the date if the status is still "refused"...
  12. Thank you. No, this was not an EB3 visa, this was for the green card. They said the visa was approved the day of the interview, however it changed to refused 3 weeks later when they asked for another document over the email which we’ve sent. So every time someone looks at it they don’t take action on reviewing the document we’ve sent and still keep the status as “refused” without emailing us updates? It’s frustrating because we think they looked at it, the document we sent was not enough, so they kept it refused, yet did not email us with any further requests but still updated the “last date update” in there… we wonder what is happening now… what does it take for it to change to approved… and how long… I wish there was more information in their website so applicants know what to expect in terms of processing times and steps…
