    USC married to Canadian citizen. Needed I-601 for misrepresentation. 1st interview in Montreal 11/2021 - denied, told to get I-601. I-601 approved after 30 months processing (RFE for police certificate asked for) 10/8 Interview in Montreal, verbally approved. Passport retained by officer. Not asked for 221g or DS-5535. Now almost 4 total weeks post interview. CEAC updated 3 times since interview but still says refused. Anyone know of similar situations? Seemingly a lot of visa approvals from October still have not received their visa yet. Happy to answer any questions you may have about our 4.5 year long process.

    our i601 was approved in June 2024, took 64 days to get email from Montreal for interview. Attended interview Oct 8. Verbally approved. Passport kept at consulate, awaiting passport return. Good luck, you'll be scheduled soon

    they deliver to your address by courier, they do not offer a pick up option to my knowledge. when was your interview? visa issued on CEAC?
