Never mind, they finally called me again to give instructions on what to expect when I return and told me about some additional fees (a little annoying, I know but no biggie). But they'll be releasing my results on the same day. Putting this up here in case someone runs into this experience!

Hi, longtime lurker here but I haven't found the info I'm looking for upon scouring the forums. You see, I'm on my 8th week waiting for the sputum culture results. However, St. Luke's called me for additional instructions earlier, 5 days before I return on Sept. 30. The person on the other line said she'll call be back because she needed to consult with her manager upon finding out that I wasn't from Manila. She was so vague about it as well. Anyone experienced this? Would it be weird if I tested positive this late into the culture? Anyway, I never got the follow up call despite waiting all day. It's making me anxious and my fiance's distraught over the possibility that I might have tested TB positive.
