    So, my husband is half-Brazilian, but he's lived most of his life in Brazil. He was born in Uruguay (his mother is Uruguayan). We are on the NVC stage, and they told us that his birth certificate has to be original from Uruguay. Luckily for him, he still has an uncle that lives there and got him a copy. We know that he's going to have to get it translated here in Brazil, but does it need to be apostiled?
