@KVVO Sorry to bother you- I wanted to ask if you could share your experience with medicals? As the process has changed to visit the Embassy after the medicals, can you please mention what time was your medicals & how long did it take? Our medicals is scheduled at 10:30am and we're 3 of us (including 3 year toddler!) I was wondering if we would be rushed to reach the Embassy as I read many of the applicants take around 90mins to 2hrs at the medicals. Many thanks for your time.

Hello All, I just booked my interview for 24th March using AIS website - I accidently happened to log onto the website and for a change it was not showing busy! so I hastily booked a date. @KVVO I see you mentioned that the person in Embassy ticked off OK on pink slip that said 'Affidavit of Support/ Proof of Assets' - so I reckon all is ok?

@appleblossom Yes, made the biggest mistake of this process - transferring after interview was scheduled. Whoever is reading this - please note - Never transfer your case after interview is scheduled - best to transfer when the case is still at NVC.

@banang thanks for the explanation. I contacted the visa medicals, they said I need to get an interview letter first before booking medicals. I think what you said does make sense, once the case is out if NVC and reaches embassy, perhaps NVC's role is finished. I will try to contact Embassy.

As your application is being processed by Embassy London, you must take your documents with you to your visa interview. Only a consular officer can decide if you qualify for a visa, following your interview. As we can’t guarantee an outcome by any set date, we caution you against resigning from work, giving up accommodation in the UK or making final travel plans unless you have received your passport containing a valid immigrant visa. No expedited visa processing service is available. Should I contact the NVC and ask them to see if they could book my interview with London now? NVC timeframe indicates they reply in a week. how would it work in case anyone wants to reschedule their IV interviews? Don't they have to go thru the AIS website (which by the way always shows system is busy!) l speculated how things became easier until this!

Hi All, I received email from Embassy in London to schedule my visa interview & medicals-- Has anyone tried to schedule on their own? I only see a date of 11th Feb and that's it. Does anyone know how frequently Embassy adds interview dates to their website?

Hello All, Any idea how to find out the number of visa used up in FY 2025? I heard last year, the quota was finished in Aug timeframe. Wondering if that could happen earlier this year?

@KVVO @Hamd157 Nice one - I'm still waiting on my case to be transferred to London - good luck to both of you. I reckon I might get interview some time in April/May looking at timelines. DQ on 26th Dec. Did both or either of you chase the Embassy to get you IL?

@appleblossom Thanks. i provided BRP copies, UK employment letter, water bills. Our attorney asked London Embassy to transfer the case after we received IL from Mumbai Consulate via NVC.

Hello Everyone, does anyone know how long London Embassy takes to reply to case transfer? I @Makenko transferred case from Paris to London within 3-4 days. we're awaiting London embassy to confirm if they're happy for the case to be transferred from Mumbai Consulate to London since 31st Dec. Mumbai embassy has scheduled our interview on 13th Feb - but with school, work, we think it's going to be challenging to be in Mumbai regardless. We're in a limbo and kind of confused what to do next - just wondering if anyone has a way to contact London Embassy quickly? also, is an offer letter expected at the EB1A interview? @appleblossom any clues?

All, I got my interview date today - scheduled at Mumbai Consulate on Feb 13th - although I've asked NVC to reschedule to London (awaiting reply). It was pretty quick response from NVC to schedule my interview date - within a week! DQ on 18th Dec
