  1. This. Things started going downhill when they let go of those 400+ workers I believe and after that it never went back up. All that story about moving offices did nothing positive in reality as numbers still keep going down. It's so hard to not be frustrated when you can't be with your person through all the hardships and happy moments because those that are supposed to do their work properly don't. Yes, there's a light at the end of the tunnel but it's unfair to have to wait way longer for that light when we shouldn't. They are messing with people's lives here. Not to mention that it's now obvious they won't deal with our range before January 20th and that's now an additional reason to stress and worry. What I also don't understand is why are we allowed to only contact them once a year has passed and not after 8 or 9 months. I don't want to have to imagine having to contact them after July 10th 2025 (that's our inquiry date) and to only be told that we're within processing time. It's cruel. And to answer @Bunninuts, they don't separate by country at this stage. That comes later. It's all supposedly done randomly.
  2. Tbh I'm having hard time believing that it's a consequence of them moving offices. Simply because they did it before. February/March range was skipped before they moved offices in August. They have their reasons which probably have to do with their numbers and we're just a collateral damage to them. It's infuriating seeing August 7th case being approved while you have not only 1700+ cases from July waiting but hundreds from February, March and so on and you know you can't do anything. It's awful knowing that once more we won't be able to celebrate together birthdays, anniversaries and all the other important dates, especially for us whose partner doesn't have a way of coming to the US even as a tourist and can only see each other twice a year but we still have to keep a positive mind here and hope for the best. Nothing else we can do.
  3. Oh wow I even see some July 5th update. Let's hope for things to start moving then. Thanks for the update! 🤗
  4. Honestly, I don't think that contacting your representatives will do anything, they'll just tell them that you're withing normal processing time which is true. I checked yesterday to see if there's an update in the processing time for K1 and it's now 8.5 months but was 9 like 2 weeks ago so I think it's fair to assume that they've skipped our range so they could improve their numbers. We don't have a problem with waiting, you go into this knowing it'll take time and patience but you don't expect you'll be pushed aside and left to wait without any explanation. It's like you said, they're holding our range in favor of another and that's what's unfair, especially given the fact that we are all paying the same amount of money so the least you hope for is that the process will be fair. I saw yesterday, possibly on reddit that someone's whole process lasted 7 months from start to them arriving to the US and that was painful to read as we're now approaching 6 months of waiting. But yeah, we need to stay positive as we all can see that there are still people from February and March waiting, probably the skipped range so it's even worse for them. Please let us know should you see any movement in our range on TMVN. 🙏
  5. They've started approving that skipped range at the end of August so it's been going for a few months now and still not done. I also keep in mind that their processing rate was higher 2,3 months ago than it is now. 🥲 I mostly think it's unfair because we all pay the same fees so the least you'd expect is that they process it in order but that's obviously not how it works.
  6. July 5th. We reached the front of the line around Oct 30th and just when we thought it's gonna happen soon they started on July 12th cases and I knew that our range will be skipped. TMVN confirmed it 2 weeks later. It's unfair, especially when you see people complaining how it's slow and they filed like a month or 2 after you and you're aware they'll now get their application reviewed before us. We were hopeful that they'd reach us by January 20th because nobody knows at this point what the new administration will do but now we've come to terms that that probably won't happen. It is what it is. Life is unfair. Just train your patience.
  7. I've unsubscribed from VJ email estimates. The last 2 times I had the same thing happen, it said I was approved and when I would click on the account link in the email it was someone else's account both times. So I've decided to opt out. And the estimate before that was all over the place, October, November, February, January. Once I realized that there aren't enough cases here in my range I unsubscribed. I'll probably subscribe to tmvn for a month if we don't get any news by the end of the year as my free trial ended.
  8. Any early July filers approved? I'm getting a bit worried because based on the casestatusext they are approving July 12, 15, 18, 19th applications. We're July 5th and I'm afraid they might do to us the same they did to that Feb 23rd-March 6th range. TMVN shows that we reached the front of the line on October 30th. We weren't expecting to be approved in a day but were hoping end of the year maybe. We were aware from the beginning that this is a marathon and that we need to practice patience, we understand that USCIS is severely understaffed atm and that processing numbers keep getting lower and lower but it's so discouraging as we hoped that they were back processing chronologically.
