Hello, my husband who lives abroad just moved to a new apartment. Our I-130 has been approved and our case is at NVC. We only paid our fees and did not submit any form or document yet. Do we need to inform USCIS or NVC about change of address? i can't find any info about this. thank you if anyone can help.

Hi, apologies if this is a repeated question, but there seems to be a lot of conflicting info. I don't think I need to upload my past wedding certification from my former marriage, but i have to upload only the divorce decree, cause I'm filing for my husband. Is this right? Do I need to upload my previous marriage certificate as well? Marriage and divorce took place in the US in 2001. (I am US citizen sponsoring my husband who lives in Albania) Thanks.

NVC Process (Split)
mico1989Athens replied to mico1989Athens's topic in National Visa Center (Dept of State)
thank you a lot.. i will fill my profile tonight at home. by dq, you mean nvc verifies and accepts documents we upload to their portal right? So basically, 1) we pay fees, 2) we upload documents and then we just wait for NVC to verify and schedule the interview for us. and all of this happens on their website. no pyhsical mails, no emails. we just upload documents on the same website we pay fee are all of this true? -
Hello, we are at NVC state (our I-130 has been approved) i am the us citizen and my husband is overseas going through consular process. my question is: for my financial support documents: Do I need to include w2 and 1099 as well? Along with irs tax returns? How many years? thank you for support from this community.

hello, i just have a question about this process. After we made the payment, upload all documents to NVC, they review and schedule the appointment with embassy in our country? is this the process and how it works? OR Do we contact embassy to schedule our interview after NVC accepts our documents?

hello, i'm trying to gather documents for our case at NVC. 1- If civil documents are in English, do they have to be translated by official translator or apostilled? For example; my husbands birth certificate is already translated in english, does it need to be "officially translated" by a professional? 2- For my (US citizen) financial documents, do I need to include w2 and 1099 as well (on top of IRS transcripts)? or just tax return transcripts are enough? thank you really this forum is my only support.

CEAC Unable to make a payment
mico1989Athens replied to skatz's topic in National Visa Center (Dept of State)
hi folks, i had the same issue but i was able to pay with another browser now it says "in process" for last 3 days. Is this normal? -
Hello dear community, my husband (the beneficiary abroad) moved recently to a new city and he is traveling for work. We are not fiance so we are going through counselor process after i-130 approval. Do we need to update his address in NVC or USCIS? Does he (or will he) ever any physical mail at any stage until he immigrates or is everything communicated via email? please advise because i am worried about potential miss of mail thank you

Hello dear community, our i130 approved and we got welcome email 2 weeks ago. Since then, we could only login to portal but cannot make a payment. Cannot upload or start any application because payment cannot be made. when i tried to pay first fee, it gave me error: "unable to complete form, please try again later” but it got stuck as status “in process”. Please see my screenshot. My question: Is there a deadline for paying the fee or anything else at this stage? I'm just waiting for system to work again but I don't want to miss anything to cause a denial or delay. We received approval notice and welcome email 2 weeks ago. We didn't upload any document, or submit a form yet. Are we racing with time? thank you if anyone can guide me.

Thank you for answering but my problem is: payment didn't go through I think. It gave me an error message. It said "please fix errors - unable to complete form, please try again later". Are you familiar with this issue? Also can you please comment on my last question: 3 - Is there a deadline for paying the fee or anything else at this stage? I'm just waiting for system to work again but I don't want to miss anything to cause a denial or delay. We received approval notice and welcome email 2 weeks ago. Much appreciated.

Hello, after our I130 has been approved we receieved welcome email 2 weeks ago. Last week, I logged in (US citizen petitioner) CEAC and tried to pay AOS fee. After trying to fee, it gave me error: "unable to complete form, please try again later” but it got stuck as status “in process”. Please see my screenshot. 1 - Should I try to pay other fee? 2- Did my payment go through? My bank account didn't change. 3 - Is there a deadline for paying the fee or anything else at this stage? I'm just waiting for system to work again but I don't want to miss anything to cause a denial or delay. We received approval notice and welcome email 2 weeks ago. Any help is appreciated. thanks.

Hello, we received welcome emails from NVC after i-130 approval notice. I am US citizen wife. I was the petitioner on I-130. i know what these terms mean but i'm confused about nvc state. for i-130, I (US citizen) am the petitioner and my husband (foreign citizen) is beneficiary. however in the NVC email, it sounds like my husband is the petitioner now. This becomes confusing when we talk about required documents for petitioner vs applicant. can you please clarify these 3 points: 1 - when we are on NVC website, is my husband(foreign citizen) petitioner? 2 - can i log in and fill the nvc website forms for my husband? 3 - in our case, who is "petitioner" , "applicant" , "beneficiary? thank you again for this forum.
