    Hello family, I'm so confused about something I noticed today. In NVC portal, we paid our fees, submitted documents and got Documentary qualified 1 month ago. We were waiting for interview date. I just logged into NVC portal and I saw that AOS fee tab says "pay now" instead of "paid". It used to say "PAID" but now it turned into "pay now" In the receipts, it shows the AOS fee as paid and there is a receipt for it. But on homepage, it says "pay now" What should I do? is this a temporary glitch or do they think we didn't pay? I just don't want to waste months and find out they didn't accept the payment. I'm so confused any help is appreciated.

    hello, i made this mistake and submitted a document for "PROOF OF DOMICILE" I'm working & living in the USA. i am the sponsor for my spouse aboard. I am not sure how big of a mistake i made? Is this(submitting proof of domicile as US resident) going to mess up things? i am nervous

    Hello dear community, I already submitted my documents to NVC but i am afraid i made a mistake. I am US citizen who works and lives in the USA. I am the sponsor for my spouse aboard. Under AOS additional documents section, I uploaded "PROOF OF DOMICILE" document that includes my apartment lease, drivers licence, car registration and renters insurance with all my address. Now i am reading this (proof of domicile) is required for people who lives aboard? did i make a mistake by submitting this document? i am really confused and any help is appreciated.

    I am in the USA. I put "Renters insurance with address", "Car registration with address" and "apartment lease" I put all of this in one pdf and uploaded as proof of domicile. I'm just seeing your message and wondering if i made a mistake will i get RFE for this? Was this(what i uploaded) enough?

    much appreciated sir. so my birth certificate is not needed. please help me with this final step, for proof of domicile, i put drivers licence and car registration on same pdf file and uploaded. would this be enough and okay?

    dear community, i am at nvc state and sponsoring my spouse. i am a naturalized us citizen and our case only includes my spouse, no kids, no parents. i uploaded brith certificate for the spouse under civil documents, however do i need to upload my birth certificate? i am foreign born and i uploaded my US passport as proof of status, but is my birth certificate needed at anywhere on nvc?

    okay so, it is fine to fill on computer, then print and hand write N/A then scan and upload? would this be fine? thanks

    thank you SO MUCH for answers, so if a document is in english, no need to translate it with a professional right? also is it okay to leave some fields empty instead of typing N/A or NONE?

    thank you, so no need to contact or submit any address change inquiry? just provide most correct address when we file AOS and DS260 forms on NVC? I just want to make sure I don't do anything to cause denial or delay. thank you.

    Hi, no we just paid fees and waiting for them to be accepted. We did not fill DS260 yet. We just got our I-130 approved, and logged into NVC. My husband (spouse abroad) moved to new address 1 day after our I130 approval. What should we do? do we have to contact USCIS or NVC at this moment?

    Hello, my husband who lives abroad just moved to a new apartment. Our I-130 has been approved and our case is at NVC. We only paid our fees and did not submit any form or document yet. Do we need to inform USCIS or NVC about change of address? i can't find any info about this. thank you if anyone can help.

    Hi, apologies if this is a repeated question, but there seems to be a lot of conflicting info. I don't think I need to upload my past wedding certification from my former marriage, but i have to upload only the divorce decree, cause I'm filing for my husband. Is this right? Do I need to upload my previous marriage certificate as well? Marriage and divorce took place in the US in 2001. (I am US citizen sponsoring my husband who lives in Albania) Thanks.

    our i-130 just approved, we are filing green card through counselor process. wife is married to me(us citizen) does this change anything? coulnd't fill my timeline, i get an error here everytime i submit the form here https://www.visajourney.com/timeline/profile.php?id=477341 My timeline: Applied in June 2023, Approved: August 2024 NVC letter: September 2024 Location: Albany new york Visa/Counselor location: Albania

    thank you a lot.. i will fill my profile tonight at home. by dq, you mean nvc verifies and accepts documents we upload to their portal right? So basically, 1) we pay fees, 2) we upload documents and then we just wait for NVC to verify and schedule the interview for us. and all of this happens on their website. no pyhsical mails, no emails. we just upload documents on the same website we pay fee are all of this true?

    Hello, we are at NVC state (our I-130 has been approved) i am the us citizen and my husband is overseas going through consular process. my question is: for my financial support documents: Do I need to include w2 and 1099 as well? Along with irs tax returns? How many years? thank you for support from this community.

    hello, i just have a question about this process. After we made the payment, upload all documents to NVC, they review and schedule the appointment with embassy in our country? is this the process and how it works? OR Do we contact embassy to schedule our interview after NVC accepts our documents?

    hello, i'm trying to gather documents for our case at NVC. 1- If civil documents are in English, do they have to be translated by official translator or apostilled? For example; my husbands birth certificate is already translated in english, does it need to be "officially translated" by a professional? 2- For my (US citizen) financial documents, do I need to include w2 and 1099 as well (on top of IRS transcripts)? or just tax return transcripts are enough? thank you really this forum is my only support.
