  1. Hi guys, I received the Tax Return from my joint sponsor, including the State Income Tax Return. Will it be a problem if I submit all of them to USCIS as a supporting document for I-864?
  2. I received an RFE from USCIS saying, "Based on the documents submitted, we could not determine that the petitioning sponsor on Form I-864, Affidavit of Support, is qualified. In order to be a qualified sponsor, the petitioning sponsor's Form I-864 must be properly completed and signed, and the supporting documents must establish that the petitioning sponsor's income meets 125 percent of the federal poverty guideline for the sponsor’s household size." My husband's income does not meet 125 percent of the federal poverty guideline for the sponsor’s household size for the year of 2023. And he does meet the requirement for 2024 from his full-time job, we already submitted his most recent 6-month pay stubs and employment letter. However, USCIS does not determine that it is qualified. And my husband has the assets (stock), which equals ten times the difference. Does this help for our case? Or should I have a joint sponsor? Thank you!
