  1. Small update: I shook my husband out of bed since I was freaking out and told him we forgot to file a form. We went to the office and opened all the boxes with documents and notices from USCIS, and surprise we have the notice for the I-751 form 😅. The problem was whenever I log into our USCIS account all the forms we ever filled show up, except the 751 so I think I had a lapse of memory.

I just used USCIS Case Status Online using the receipt number from that file, and it only mentioned the biometrics. "Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken". No pending or any other update. And the case still won't appear on my profile. 🤷‍♀️

GC : obtwined 2000 to 2022 temp based on marrage

Temp GC - extended for 4 yrs how ? Normally this extension comes when you apply for 751 on what basis they extended . Thats the question .regarding the rest of question . 751 is mandatory u have to establish tge marrage for GC thats the whole pirpose of temp GC marrage based GC is 2 step process its not yet conplete of ur 751 is not approved .

Can you apply fpr n400 yes temp or not temp you are still perm resident so you qualify theoretically

But also they cant and wont process or approve without 751 your marrage based GC is not conokete without it

And u have to apply 90 days beforr expiring of temp GC yes but you say its extended for 4 yrs so its not yet expired .

As i see the missing and important point here is how and why they extended 4 yrs without pending 751

In early 2023 USCIS Extends Green Card Validity for Conditional Permanent Residents with a Pending Form I-751 or Form I-829. The problem was I never filled the I751 because I was under the impression I had to wait for the 90 days. Now I'm just concerned I should have filled before the N400, or if I can even file it now.

  3. I was wondering if anyone could clear somethings for me. I got my GC through marriage in 2020.

I received an extension on my provisional gc for 48 months early 2023, prior to that in Jan 2023 I received a 24 months extension. My GC would have expired Dec.2022. So now the date of expiration should be Dec 2026. For that reason I had not applied to the I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence.

In July this year I sent my N400 under the 3 year rule and haven't heard anything back. I know the I-751 is supposed to be filed 90 days before GC expiration date so now I'm just confused if I should be applying for it as well to make the N400 process smoother.

    Any advice will be appreciated.
