Hello @Moda25 just wanted to update you that I received my passport with the visa yesterday and I am now at the airport headed to the US 🥹 thank you so much for your help and guidance. I plan to do an entire post about my timelines as this forum has proved very useful for me. DX in London I would not recommend delivery so collection is best. They messed up my address and was delivering my passport to the wrong address and so I had to go to that wrong address and waited in the cold for 3 hours just to receive it. Anyway I am glad to be going home and I wish everyone much prayer, support and belief through this process. Hope you have an update soon @M S Khan stay positive! Almost there -

Hello @Moda25 just informing you that my visa got issued on the Friday! Two days after the status was changed to AP as you said. Thank you so much for your guidance. My family and I are so relieved as I have a 22 month old to get home to. I haven't received the passport yet since it was the weekend so I am hoping that today (Monday) I get some tracking info as I selected collection at Chancery Lane. Do you know if I will get a tracking number or do I just show up at DX? -

Hi @Moda25! I wanted to update you that today my status turned to 'Administrative Processing'. Is this a good sign for 'Issued' to come next? I had a 221g which required no further documents and all that was ticked on the paper was to submit my passport since I could not leave it with the embassy due to impending travel. Now they have asked for my passport and it has turned to AP. Any advice on what I can expect will be helpful. Your case is the closest case in similarity to mine so your thoughts are greatly appreciated. Thank you -

Thank you so much for your response. Yes I know that you have to wait for the status to change the issues but what I'm asking is how long did it take from the time you submitted the passport to the time it changed to issued? We submitted my passport but the status still says refused and it hasn't updated. So just wondering timelines. -

Hello @Moda25 when you submitted the passport back to the embassy how long after did it take you to finally get the passport back? We got a 221g which asked us to submit the passport when they request it which we did 2 days ago. Just wondering when we'd get it back with visa in hand? -

Hello and congratulations on finally being asked to come back in for a second interview. I'm not sure if it's common but my advice would be to very honest about your relationship with the officer. Everything you think they don't know they already know because they have records of everything. What they really look for is whether you are honest about your relationship and have a strong, bonafide relationship together. Showing assets or commingling of your finances is also very helpful so ensure you also have these to show that you've started building a life together. Best of luck! -

Hello and thank you for sharing your experience. I have to drop off my passport and just wondered if any DX location is preferred for its speediness? I'm based in London so was thinking the Chancery Lane location. Thoughts? -

Hello Everyone, Just coming in to share that we got our IL today, praise God!: DQ'd July 24th IL received: 18th September Interview Date: 15th November It has me as applicant to attend the interview but doesn't state my husband who is the petitioner. Hello joined this thread as it seems to be the most up to date. My husband and daughter are US citizens and I am awaiting my Interview Letter for London where we resided at the time of application. We were DQ'd on July 24th. Hoping that we get an October date early November date soon so we can be in the US in time for Christmas. My daughter is 19 months and we would like to carry her with us to interview that way once approved (fingers crossed) we can all head to the US as a unit. Has anyone had any experience or thoughts about carrying children to the interview? Thank you so much to everyone that has been sharing their journey on here. It's been much help and comfort in this uncertain time.
