@TBoneTXIf she renews her passport now and gets a new one soon, do we have to notify the consulate or she can just show up at the interview with the new passport? The submitted visa application has her current passport number.

Hello, My girlfriend applied for a tourist visa to come visit me here in the US. We submitted the application online; however, her passport expires in June next year. The wait time for an interview at the consulate where she lives is approximately 110 days. Will this pose a problem? Should we cancel the application and submit a new visa application after she gets a new passport? Thanks.
