  1. I believe it looks very good and you are on track to receive your visa. please keep us posted.
  2. Ok, now I understood. Basically they didn't ask you to do a new medical examination and sending passport to them, they only asked extra documents for processing your case. Then, it is not unusual, in some cases they request further docs. I believe this is a good sign that they are working on your case, but it doesn't necessarily mean they clear the AP in short amount of time.
  3. It is a first time I see such an event in this forum! It's unusual! How long it took between sending passport request+medical exam email and the time they told you your case is still in AP?
  4. Congratulation. Did you do any Mandamus Lawsuit or congressional contacting during the past 1.5 years?
  5. I'm glad your case processed in a timely manner, however, I don't think so it is because of EB case. I'm waiting for my EB visa to be cleared (after DS-5535) +11 month after interview and still I didn't get any unsolicited update.
  6. Hello Everyone, As we all know they reduced the pace for vetting cases recently. I think the reason for the EB-2 category is as they reached the yearly cap, they stopped background checks as well. So, if you are in the EB-2 category like me, there is no chance to receive an email from the consulate sooner than 1st of October (first day of fiscal year 2025). If you already had some updates recently but no contact from the consulate, don't worry about it, it might come in October. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/News/visas-news/annual-limit-reached-in-the-EB-2-category.html
