  1. In additional during our first in person visit I met her family and ask for their blessings. During this second upcoming trip my dad will be meeting her (just not sure if it will be before or after the interview)
  2. It will be two times met in person by the time she attend her interview. I will be spending the holidays with her for over a month. I will be there for her for interview as well if it get scheduled around that time as well.
  3. Hey all! Just wanted to see if anyone can share their recent K-1 interview experience in Bangkok? I am interested in how the interview went ? What questions were asked ? What did your proof of relationship part of the packet looked like? Anything particular the CO was looking for during the interview ? My only concern is me and my Fiancée had a very short courtship before I submitted her K-1 application. I know this is one of the “red flags”. Our age gap is not that big I am only 1.5 years older than her. A month after we met I proposed to her and put her K-1 package in. Since then we literally spend about 12 hours a day FT and texting. I have a PPT build up with call log for every single day since the day we met. We have tons of screenshooting of us FT, of her talking to my family and friends. Me talking to her family and friends, me sending her a care package, her and my dad FaceTiming me on one of my ceremonies, etc. I am also going to visit her this upcoming month and I will be there during her interview. This will be my second trip and we will provide even more pictures of us being together. I will have my flight itinerary snd face books stamps in there.I will have a friend also writing a letter that witnessed me buying her a ring and will be notarized. My question is what other documents or proof do you think is good to have ? We have not booked a venue for the wedding nor bought a dress and suit yet since the timeline is very unstable for the K-1 process.
  4. Hey I still been waiting apparently there is a crazy backlog 🤷‍♂️. How were the appointments looking were there a lot of spots available for December ?
  5. Currently awaiting for USCIS to send my case to NVC (current wait is about 6 weeks due to backlog), takes another 2-4 weeks for case creation and processing. My Fiancée is currently in Korat. She attempted the Police certificate but was told that she needs the (DS-160 interview confirmation) in order to apply for the police certificate. She already translated her birth certificate Korat-legal.com (for some reason I couldn’t post the link). She also doesn’t have a record of her vaccinations so she is planning to do a hospital visit to get her vaccinations done (that way she doesn’t have to get all of them at the embassy medical exam.) I will suggest you start filling out your I-134 and get all of your supporting documents, then get the birth certificate translation and start building your prove of continuance relationship. The medical exam and police certificate will need to happen after you get an appointment date. I don’t have experience with the jobs part but my fiancée has been running a restaurant with her mother so there won’t be any official working slip unless her mother writes her a letter. I think for the K-1 purpose is more important to prove that your relationship is genuine and not so much where your fiancée worked and all the rest. Also shoot me a DM maybe we can exchange contact and keep each other in the loop with the process !
  6. Hello, My application is with the NVC right now soon will be scheduling the K-1 medical and interview with the US Embassy in Bangkok. Anyone has any experience with this ? How was the process ? How hard was the interview ? I heard they provide option to speak Thai on the interview ? My Fiancée speaks English but she will be more comfortable in Thai ? Any feedback with recent process will be appreciate it !
  7. Hey I can’t go into details but military deployment which won’t allow my fiancée to get here on time and get married. If we follow USCIS timeline I will be gone by the time she gets here and I won’t be back until after 90days of her coming.
  8. Hey thanks for the insight. Also do you think I should worry about the status not being updated ?
  9. Hey guys just wanted to see if anyone recently had any experience and timeline for I-129f expedited services. My I-129f was received on 16AUG 2024. Submitted for expedited services on 22AUG was denied on the 27AUG. I reached out to my local congressman and he submitted an inquiry for me. My expedited service request was approved on 5 SEP 2024. Follow is the email I received from my congressman: “Enclosed is a copy of the reply I recently received in response to my inquiry on your behalf. "Thank you for your inquiry on behalf of your constituent’s I-129F petition, receipt number WAC******regarding a request for expedited processing. After careful review and consideration, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has granted your constituent's request for expedite processing. The approved request will be forwarded to the adjudication unit and the case will be assigned to an officer. We are unable to determine at this time how long the review process will take. As soon as a decision is made on the cases a notice of action will be mailed out. *A notice of action may be in a form of Approval Notice, Denial Notice, Request for Evidence, Notice of Intent to Deny or Notice of Intent to Revoke. We hope the information provided is helpful." I believe the information contained in the reply is self-explanatory, and I hope it answers your questions concerning this matter. Thank you for contacting my office.” I have been checking my online case status but the last update was request for additional information that was submitted by my congress team from 3 SEP2024. Just want to see what’s the wait time nowadays for this. I read 2 weeks but I also have seeing people waiting for about 30 days now(filled in June)
