  1. Sorry typo - I think you were there when my son and myself were also there! (Apologies - I am very tired!)
  2. i think you were with my son and myself today! you smiled at me when you came out of the booth! i had a pink jacket on. Mine was also approved today 😊
  3. Actress and voice over artist. I think he was just cross checking with his own details! As I was telling him he was looking at his screen and then typing.
  4. Hi All, We had our interview this morning. 8.30am - entered building and made our way up to 1st floor. 9.45am - interview took place - handed over the sealed envelope. Had to be sworn in. Then he asked me ONE question. "Can you tell me about your profession?" Oh and also if we (my son and myself) had lived anywhere else. But that was it. He then checked our finger prints again. Handed back our original documents and said "I'm happy to say your visa has been approved - passports will be ready to collect in 7-10 days". I asked him if there was anything left to pay and he said no more money was due. 10am - left embassy! APPROVED. The whole process from the EB1A being approved by NVC has taken 6 months. Sept 13th 2024 - March 5th 2025. Hope this helps.
  5. Hi! We (my 20 year old son and myself) were also in at 10.30am and they make sure that you are seen so there's enough time for you to get down to the Embassy. I would get an Uber as it takes the stress out of the situation. It's about £18. They tell you at the medical it's between 12pm-1pm to get to the Embassy but it's actually until 2pm. I asked her and said I was concerned we weren't going to make it but she smiled and said not to worry! They let the embassy know that you are heading down there so when you get there you already on a list. I would get there earlier (for medical) if you are at all anxious as it seems to be first come first serve basis... At the Embassy go to the window on the road first, they will give you a pink slip and then you go to another door which will take you through security, then another entrance with more checking. Then you go upstairs to get officially checked. We saw 2 different officers. It's all very well organised! You will see 3 separate doctors. 1. Chest X ray. 2. Vaccinations. 3. Doc for medical check up/ go through report/ eye test/ weighed/ measured and blood test if you need it. Good Luck!
  6. When I went to the embassy last week to go over my documents before my interview in 10 days time, he asked me if I was self petitioned, then he ticked the 'OK' box on pink slip that said 'Avvidavit of Support/ Proof of Assets'. I took nothing to do with financial proof. I am self petitioned EB1 A. Alien of Extraordinary etc etc...
  7. Is this by credit/ debit card in the actual building straight after the interview?
  8. Hi! Can I ask did you need to pay for anything at the Embassy such as your Biometrics? Or anything after your interview had finished?
  9. Just a quick bit of extra info - We (my son & myself) are having our medical on the 19th Feb and the new rules are that straight after the medical we have to go directly to the embassy and submit all our documents ahead of our actual interview on the 5th March. Reason being is that people are turning up to their interview with missing info so everything gets delayed. Thought you'd like to know if you don't know already!
  10. Yes it will come at the end of next month I would think. So end of Feb for the interview in April?
  11. My interview just came in! March 5th in London. Nervous but excited.
  12. No not yet!! I will be sure to post it on here. Really hoping it will be soon as need to book medical.
  13. ah! Automated. Interesting!
  14. I had this email the other day....Just a waiting game! This notice is to inform you that your case for an immigrant visa is documentarily complete at the National Visa Center (NVC) and has been since 15-NOV-2024. - This means that NVC received all of the fees, forms and documents required before an immigrant visa interview. Your petition is waiting for an interview appointment. Thank you for your patience. Your case will remain at NVC until an appointment is scheduled. Then, we will send it to the proper U.S. embassy or Consulate General. - We will notify the applicant, petitioner, and attorney (if you have one) when the appointment is scheduled. The U.S. embassy or consulate tells NVC the dates they hold interviews. NVC fills these appointments on a first-in, first-out basis. We cannot predict when your interview will be scheduled.
  15. @Makenko Thank you so much for this. I hope you are right...would like to get to the finishing post soon! 😊
