  1. Hi! Thank you. Could you pls elaborate on that? What do you mean by other opportunities? Job offer is marketing related! Hope this helps?
  2. I know but unfortunately when we decided to apply my wife didn't have any job offers in the horizon and we didn't want to wait for a possible one.. considering how long the process is! Let's see how this will go tho
  3. Thank you! We will give it a try then
  4. Thank you - Yes, we already applied unfortunately. I honestly thought that although not granted, if requested because the USC receives the job offer might have more chances vs if requested for the benefeciary (myself). But again, it was just my perception by reading around. Let's see! Thank you again
  5. Hi everyone, thanks as always for your help! Quick question — how likely is it that an expedite request for an I-130 petition will be approved if the U.S. citizen spouse receives a job offer in the U.S.? We are currently living together in Italy!
  6. That's exactly my point. I am trying to figure out if there is a way to accelarate the process. Interview went well, and they asked me if I could understand if a written job offer would accelerate the process. This is what I am trying to understand. Hpe it's clear & tahnk you for the help!
  7. Thank you, now is more clear. So just in order to be sure I understood; the company can sponsor me while I am waiting for my I-130 and at the same time I could work from the US (or remote, but it's not my case)? And then, once I get my spousal visa it will simply adjust from sponso -> green card holder? Thank you again!
  8. Thanks for your feedback! Why would they need to sponsor me? As the end of the CR1 process gives me full right to work etc. probably am I missing something?
  9. Hi everyone - My wife (sponsor, US Citizen) and myself (Italian, benefeciary) have applied for the I-130 through the CR1. We have "just" started this long process however I have interviewed with a company in the US and they might make an offer. My question is: if they make an offer, can I use that offer to apply for an expedition? Would that help? Fyi: California Service Center Thank you everyone!
  10. Hi everyone - We have (finally) started to gather all the document for the Spouse Visa and I am looking for an online official translator service providers. Do you have any website to recommend that you used in the past for this purpose? I have googled but I can't really tell what's good / legit. EDIT: can I also translate the document and then add a "certification" such as "I, name & surname, certify that this is a complete and accurate translation of the document from Italian to English" ? Thank you!
  11. Thank you! I read that posts and the posts suggested on the same thread. I will try to post a question there as well.
  12. Hi everyone - We are trying to get in contcat with the Naples Consulate (Italy) to request how to file the I-130 with a DCF. We have been reading and we might qualify however cannot really understand how to connect with the Naples center (as for our understanding Naples it's the discrict that manages DCF etc.) Can someone please advise us? I have read that people emailed the consulate directly explaing the situation etc however I can't find the email address / telephone number (we called a bunch of numbers and were dead-ends). Thank you!!
  13. Hi everyone - my fiancée and I will apply for the CR1 this fall. My passport will expire in December 2025 so will be during the visa process. What are the guidelines saying about it? Couldn’t really find anything on the internet. My country (Italy) only allows to renew the passport 6 months before the expiration date (June 2025 in my case). Thanks for any advice!
  14. This is my first post, so apologies if it’s not the right place. My fiancée (American) and I (Italian) recently got engaged and live in Italy. She has a student visa (italian school), and I work here. Our goal is to move to the US as soon as possible and we are debating which route to take. We’re considering the K-1 Visa but are concerned because I wouldn't be able to work until I get the Adjustment of Status (AOS) & work permit, and I couldn’t travel without Advance Parole. Can we apply for AOS, the work permit, and Advance Parole all at once? What’s the timeline? We’re also aware of the cost difference between the K-1 Visa and Consular Processing. Any advice would be appreciated!
