My fiancé never received any email or letter copy of a K1-FTP letter. We got our case number via public inquiry and told our case was in transit to the UK embassy.
We’ve been tracking our case and it changed to ready early this week, so we filled out the DS160, booked the medical and interview. I sent another public inquiry asking if we could get a copy of the K1-FTP as we hadn’t received it but I got the same email response as before.
Do I need a copy of the K1-FTP or will a print out of the email I received simply stating the case number and that it was sent to the embassy suffice? We also haven’t received an email yet from the embassy in the UK, so I wondered if this email would be enough also if nothing is received (have heard a lot of people don’t receive them or get them much later).
