  1. ahh... so its different for you, I hope you get their reply with instructions to send passports(I got email reply after 2 weeks). Just hang in there :)
  2. @Quebekwa nduiwhat is the last case status update date for you? Did it change after interview? Just wanted to say, make sure you get tracking number when you mail your passport. Best of luck!
  3. @Quebekwa ndui I believe 221g with the request to submit passport and second paper with instructions about how to send documents is the 'passport request'(I could be wrong). I was not told to wait for an email, I guess you should also send your passport. Did they explicitly tell you to send the passport when they email and ask for it? Did you get a reply of your query from consulate?
  4. @AndrewsNthey didn't request passport in October. They gave me a paper along with 221g on interview day itself with instructions on how to submit documents. I waited till second week of October and then mailed my passport along with courier-in-receipt(generated from AIS). My last update was nov 4th (thats when I got email response as well). What is your last update date on ceac?
  5. @Quebekwa ndui At the interview, I was given 2 papers. 1)221g with visa limit reason and passport listed in docs to submit, 2)instructions about how to send the documents to consulate Did you also get these two? Your 221g also lists passport as docs to be submitted?
  6. Interview 16th sept, passport delivered 15th oct (as per canada post tracking). Sent email to consulate to confirm passport delivery, they replied on Nov 4th stating mail goes to offsite processing facility and takes time to reach visa unit
  7. @Quebekwa ndui did you get 221g letter stating that you are refused because of visit limit? and that lists you need to submit passport? I got such letter and have sent my passport in October, still waiting
  8. Hello My IV interview appointment (EB-2, employer sponsored) coming up in September and as per the interview checklist mentioned on https://travel.state.gov/.../Supplem.../MTL-Montreal.html I have to take a letter from employer: For employment-based visa applications: A letter from your U.S.-based employer dated less than one month ago. Since I am working in the same employer's (who is sponsoring IV) Canada office, what type of letter am I required to present at the interview? This should be an employment verification letter from Canada office, or should be a letter from the U.S office about the future/prospective employment/job in U.S? Is there any template/format? My employer need to know what information should be provided in the letter? Please help!
