thanks @Leo The Great! Do I need to have some kind of paperwork to show at the border when entering US without car, for the car that I will take later? Also, any idea about duty/tax for a car that is actually going back to the US(my car is from US, I imported it here when I moved from US and now it will go back to the US)?

Regarding Canada Post Strike, found "If we have not generated your shipment for you yet, it is time to switch to our alternative vendor BLS or consider upgrading to Premium Delivery Service to receive your documents to an address in Canada." on AIS https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-ca/niv/information/announcements#898-canada_post_nationwide_strike_in_effect_20241115155432 May help someone looking to change the location

@Bamz@datafate my passport is with consulate and status not changed to 'Issued' yet, I do see the option to request premium delivery on AIS. Any idea if I can request for it at this point?

Much thanks @mariagomez My passport is with consulate(over 5weeks) and still waiting for 'issued'. Wondering if I should go ahead and do the request for premium delivery

@mariagomez could you please share did you update AIS with "Request Premium Delivery"? If yes, this should be done after status changes to Issued? Or they did automatically send via purolator due to Canada Post Strike?

@Quebekwa nduiwhat is the last case status update date for you? Did it change after interview? Just wanted to say, make sure you get tracking number when you mail your passport. Best of luck!

@Quebekwa ndui I believe 221g with the request to submit passport and second paper with instructions about how to send documents is the 'passport request'(I could be wrong). I was not told to wait for an email, I guess you should also send your passport. Did they explicitly tell you to send the passport when they email and ask for it? Did you get a reply of your query from consulate?

@AndrewsNthey didn't request passport in October. They gave me a paper along with 221g on interview day itself with instructions on how to submit documents. I waited till second week of October and then mailed my passport along with courier-in-receipt(generated from AIS). My last update was nov 4th (thats when I got email response as well). What is your last update date on ceac?

@Quebekwa ndui At the interview, I was given 2 papers. 1)221g with visa limit reason and passport listed in docs to submit, 2)instructions about how to send the documents to consulate Did you also get these two? Your 221g also lists passport as docs to be submitted?
