yes it is very frustrating for sure. i am with you. i am still waiting on my rfe response. it has been 4 weeks and still no response. what form did you use for self filing a mandamus or do you just write a letter? @Willie_Overall

Thank you I will ask hacking immigration lawyer. I did not know about that so thank you. RFE varies i guess, some say 1 week and some say 3 months so not sure really and my progress tab shows 5 months which scares me even more. And my RFE was caused by my own lawyer so that is why i am even more mad and frustrated. They forgot to upload I130-A supplemental form which is so so depressing. So i am having to wait with no fault of my own. But good luck on talking to ur congressman and hopefully will help and self-filing mandamus sounds good for now. Atleast that should scare them @Willie_Overall

i emailed the congressman yesterday and he said he would check the status for me so lets see if that helps. normally they dont do anything if it is still within normal processing time he said but he said he wud check the status for us. hope this will help and maybe for u too

how did you get through emma? they gave me such a robotic answers not much help. I am also trying to contact my congressman. i know it says it should be out of normal processing times to talk to congressman but i wanna give it a try @Lisa K @Rmre

what does your current processing timeline show at uscis for the RFE? mine says 5 months which scares me but i dont think those timelines r accurate. they keep fluctuating @Lisa K

i heard it should not take more than 60 days for them to process RFEs

yes i think they update it 1-2 days later. i know hopefully it comes really soon for both of us

@Lisa K we got it in the mail like in 3-4 days. urs shud be coming very soon in mail. i talked to my lawyer and she said RFE's typically should not take too long to process. she hopes in less than a month. mines been 2 weeks so lets see hoping that it comes in the next 2 weeks

do you know what your RFE is on? Mine is that my lawyer forgot to upload the I130-A (supplemental) form which is so stupid....so we submitted asap. now we waiting and its been 2 weeks. hopefully will get to see the results in 3rd week

i got an RFE 2 weeks ago and i submitted what they needed asap. now waiting for them to approve it !!!! it's been 2 weeks... hopefully they approve on the 3rd week ...i heard approval time within a month from other friends....

Actually my lawyer made a mistake/forgot to add form I130-A !!!!!! so pissed.....we attached it now,,..ugh our rfe was missing I130-A ......that was it.....hopefully uscis just checks it out and approves
