  1. my attorney forgot to attach or i dont know some computer glitch but I130-A (the supplemental form) was missing. so we had to send it again. we sent it like the same day we recieved RFE. its been 2 months waiting...hopefully get to hear soon..i read that 90 days is maximum that they take to respond but not sure if thats accurate
  2. yes it is....i. m tired of waiting. nebraska seems like the slowest center ever
  3. yayyyy.....good luck to us....i m still waiting on my RFE decision. mine is in nebraska. wheres urs?
  4. @Ivan3345 how did ur situation go? My mom will be also in the similar situation soon
  5. ya they said they received my RFE response and shud just wait for them to respond to it. all i can do is wait they said
  6. @hunterjem my mom is also in the same situation as yours. Hers is not 2 years but will be like 13-14 months by the time she will head back to US. She has valid GC too and she has to stay for me to take care of me (fractured ankle). She is also just going to head back and not apply SB-1 and all. Hopefully you and her will get nice officer and not have to worry about anything. I also heard that airlines don't really bother that much if you have valid GC. thanks
  7. i also requested an expedite with my medical reason yesterday. so hopefully that also helps with speeding my RFE
  8. @Luminita have u got a response for ur RFE? I sumitted my RFE on Sep 9, 2024. I still have not heard anything. It's been 2 months today.
  9. yes !!!! i dont know whats the hold up. mine was just a missing i130-A supplemental form that my lawyer forgot to attach. anyways my lawyer is going to inquire on the 60th day which is today on whats going. apparently u can ask on 60th day mark about rfe so hopefully that helps...nd i will ask jim hacking. also going to submit medical expedition request ( it does not hurt i guess). @Willie_Overall good for u

  12. has anyone done medical reason expedite request with uscis? has it worked? i recently had my leg fractured 3-4 days ago and i feel like it cud qualify for medical reason expedite?
  13. i am still waiting on my RFE ugh...its been 5 weeks and still no respone...
  14. yes it is very frustrating for sure. i am with you. i am still waiting on my rfe response. it has been 4 weeks and still no response. what form did you use for self filing a mandamus or do you just write a letter? @Willie_Overall
  15. Thank you I will ask hacking immigration lawyer. I did not know about that so thank you. RFE varies i guess, some say 1 week and some say 3 months so not sure really and my progress tab shows 5 months which scares me even more. And my RFE was caused by my own lawyer so that is why i am even more mad and frustrated. They forgot to upload I130-A supplemental form which is so so depressing. So i am having to wait with no fault of my own. But good luck on talking to ur congressman and hopefully will help and self-filing mandamus sounds good for now. Atleast that should scare them @Willie_Overall
  16. I emailed to my congressman too. They have wrote to Nebraska center so lets' see what the result will be. It is ridiculous this USCIS. I am beyong depressed and frustrated. Following the issuance of a “Request for Evidence” (RFE) letter in this case, a response to the correspondence was received at the Nebraska Service Center (NSC) on September 9, 2024. According to USCIS records, further examination of your constituent’s case is not yet complete. While the congressional interest regarding this case has been conveyed to the appropriate NSC unit involved in processing, we are unable to determine the date on which the adjudication process will be complete. You may request another update after approximately 30 days. Major case-specific updates are also available through the USCIS “Case Status Online” tool (https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do). @Willie_Overall

It is somewhat helpful I guess for me. Maybe email your congressman too, it might help @Rmre
