    My mom is in a similar situation like urs but they have not been out that long. She has been out of US around 16 months. I am also wondering if I should have her hop on a plane and try luck with CBP officer or apply SB1 ... I am on a dilemma too. I am wondering with the new Trump adminstration, if there a chance that my mom will be deported by a CBP officer?

    I had a question. Have any of u had experience with staying abroad outside US longer than 1 year even if you are green card holder? my mom is a Green card holder but she has stayed over a year now (15 months) and i was wondering how hard will it for her to enter back in US while staying this long. Any problems with immigration officer? @OldUser @Crazy Cat @nastra30 specially with the new administration now

    oh wow this is such a mess. USCIS and NVC both, the whole system. ugh...i am always disapointed with them. Hopefully it will be approved soon for you. This wait is crazy

    ugh i m sorry to hear that. USCIS is a mess. I should be done uploading tomorrow all my documents to NVC. Merry christmas and happy new year. 2025 willl be good to you and you should be hearing very soon i am pretty sure

    do we need to submit W-2's as well to NVC?

    While I wait for NVC, what kind of documents do I need to prepare for NVC? 1. Police report 2. pay stubs 3. tax report 4. employee letter Do we need employee letters and pay stubs and all? Do we also need W-1 s as well? @Lisa K

    we just got approved today.....wow;.....now on to NVC ...finally.....17.5 months

    ya just wanted to try it. they have not responded yet. it has been almost a month we requested it. Also do you know how long these RFE are taking to be processed the longest @OldUser

    ugh !!! Nebraska is a mess i feel like. It is the slowest center i think

    my lawyer forgot to attach I130- A supplemental form when they first submitted so i am beyond pissed and mad and disappointed. I have already waited 3 months. I do not know how long before they see my RFE submitted. Many people have got their RFE respose back in 1 month or less from what i have seen here. I do not know why Nebraska is so slow.

    no same here. still no response from USCIS. it is ridiculous. they have not responded to my expedited request either. i called many times but no progress. they just say they will response in 72 hrs and they email and say still processing. emma chat is also useless. congressman also tried but still no response. progress tab still shows 5 months. it keeps fluctuating between 4- 5 months what the hell. it has been 90 days since we submitted our RFE but still no response. this is so depressing. How much did you have to pay to file the self mandamus to the USCIS?

    i heard the same within 90 days. i hope its true. mine will be 90 days on dec 9. hope to hear something. this is so frustrating. i feel like nebraska is the slowest

    so true progress tab sucks and is never accurate and gives people more anxiety and false hopes
