im curious how you were able to add your husbands name in your passport without changing your citizenship card?
Im in the boat where we are trying to change wife’s (nepali) passport surname so when she gets green card it has my(american) surname. We are thinking we have to change her citizenship but if we can change her passport without having to go through the seemingly impossible -everyone we ask tells us she can’t change her name to mine since i’m bideshi- process of changing the citizenship then that’s preferable.
Please offer a word of advice. I leave nepal in two days and we’ve spent the last few weeks jumping through hoop after hoop to get married and get it registered.
