  1. I see lol. When you scheduled the interview, how far away was the interviews? Weeks or months? What did they ask?
  2. Thank you for your info and advice. I hope that they will approve my fiancé. They delayed me 7 months because they lost the second page of my petition.
  3. Thank you. We will do that together. Will they lock us if we sign in from Vietnam and US?
  4. Thank you so much for the useful info. I wonder if we submit the timeline and family tree in the interview, they will approve the visa faster. In your case, it took 6 months. That was so long. In my case, they already delayed my fiancé 7 months because USCIS lost the second page of my petition. I am thinking about writing a letter to the white house next month to beg him to ask them expedite my petition. I am not sure what the outcome would be. It is very unfair that they made a mistake and we suffer.
  5. Thank you for the info. Could you please tell me why scheduling for the interview could be nightmare? And why we have to do that together?
  6. Thank you so much for the information. I will have those two documents ready before my fiancé interview. I just had my NVC case number last week. What do I need to prepare next?
  7. We sent about twenty pictures with the petition. We did not write a timeline. At the time we submitted the petition there were not a lot of evidence. However, after one and the half year, we have more evidence now. We had met 2 times in person before we submitted the petition. We have met 5 times so far. If the CO doesn’t look at the evidence we bring, then it is very unfair for us. We have more evidence now
  8. Thank you so much for the information. I heard many people said if there is no timeline at the time of I-129F submission, it is very likely that they will fail us and ask for more evidence instead looking at the evidence that we bring to the interview. Is that true?

  10. Hi everyone, My I-129F petition was transferred to NVC 3 week ago. My case was given a case number. When can I upload my relationship timeline (including pictures) to NVC website? Thank you so much
  11. Thank you for your advice!
  12. Hi everyone, Thank you so much for your time helping us. Over a month ago, I posted on the forum asking for advice on my immigration case. Over a month ago, USCIS sent me a letter requesting me to send them page 2 of my I-129F. 6 month ago, USCIS lost page 2 of my application. They made me wait 5 months before reviewing my case. I sent page 2 of my application to them as soon as I received that letter. The USCIS deadline was 9/23. I mailed USCIS. The second page on 8/26 via priority certified mail. The USPS tracking record shows my document was picked up at USCIS PO Box on 8/29. My USCIS account status has never been updated since. Last week before the due date, I asked my congresswoman office to help me contact USCIS regarding the status and whether they received my document. Over a week later, USCIS emailed the congresswoman office saying they didn’t receive my document. It has already been 10 days past the deadline. Today I filled out the second page again and wrote a letter explaining to USCIS why I was resending them the second page. I also included a copy of the USPS certified mail receipt and a copy of USPS tracking record in the envelope. I sent them via certified mail. What else could I do? Will USCIS deny my case? It has been 17 months since I submitted my application. I am so sad and frustrated. Thank you so much for your advice!
  13. Thank you so much for your advice!!!
  14. Thank you so much for your advice!!! I will re -submit it ASAP.
  15. Thank you so much for your response. The forum doesn’t let me post the entire page due to size limit. That’s why I only posted the top half. This is the second part of the notice. Please let me know what I need to do now! MISSING PAGE Your Form I-129F is missing page 2 (Edition 03/21/22). Therefore, please complete and submit page 2 of your Form I-129F and include your signature and date. If any item does not apply, write "N/A." Since the benefit request may be denied based on the preceding information, you are afforded 30 days from the date of this letter to submit evidence, information, or statement in rebuttal to this notice. Additionally, when USCIS serves a notice by mail, three days are added to the prescribed period in which to respond. Any such evidence or arguments will be carefully reviewed prior to a final determination in this matter. Failure to respond, however, will result in adjudication of the benefit request on the basis of the record, as it is now constituted, including the information referred to above. Your response must be received in this office by September 23, 2024.
  16. Hi everyone, Thank you so much for helping me. I need your advice. I am the petitioner. I submitted my I-129F in May last year to sponsor my girlfriend from Vietnam. My I-129F was initially approved in February this year. Then it was sent to the NVC 1 month later. However, NVC returned my application back to USCIS for review. It has been almost 5 month of waiting. A couple days ago, USCIS reopened my case. Yesterday, I received a notice from USCIS. I attached the notice below. From my understanding, USCIS asked me to resubmit page 2 in form I-129F by 9/23. They lost my second page. I am not sure if I need an immigration lawyer to help me with this issue or I can handle this myself with the guy from immigration service I paid for. Please give me advice!
