Hi all,
My fiancé and I -- both guys -- put together an extensively-researched packet thanks to reading the experiences of all the amazing folks here at VJ. Mailed, they signed for it, we are waiting on our NOA1 now
Included in our relatively efficient presentation of evidence (we didn't go overboard on photos, and emphasized stronger things like entry/exit records and matching boarding passes), we included a photo commemorating our recent engagement, which happened on my latest time spent with him.
We're very aware of the issues some VJ members have had with engagement photos appearing too formal, but that seems to be moreso related to large gatherings with people, matching outfits, or cultural ceremonies?
But the worry bug which seems to go with this process has kicked in, as seems to go hand in hand with this process.
I've attached the photo we included, which before we sent the packet so obviously screamed "engagement, not married" in my mind: a single ring, a showing-off-the-ring pose, informal clothing, informal pose, just the two of us.
But just wanted to ask the perspective of this amazing group of folks, as y'all have been following these kinds of things for way longer.
Any reassurance is appreciated
