Thank you for the feedbacks. My fiancé had his interview last Thursday and picked up his passport with the Visa today. He also said the interview was a breeze. So glad we are all done with this phase, I wish everyone success. ps: The embassy gave us less than 48 hours notice for the interview, we were in panic mode but glad everything worked out just fine.

Just posting this as a public cry to anyone here that has gone through/is going through the K1 visa process via the US Embassy in Dublin, Ireland to kindly share their timelines I know there isn’t a ton of info out there about how things move in Dublin (seriously, it’s like a black hole 🥺🥹🥺), so I’m hoping to gather a few case timelines to maybe see a pattern. Please share When you submitted your Notice of Readiness (NoR) When the embassy responded/sent Packet 4 And when your interview was scheduled for The wait is brutal right now and I’m just trying to get a sense of what to expect. Wow, I’m so happy for you guys. We sent our NOR as soon as he got his sealed medical report on Monday 26/05/2025. We hope to hear back soon. Really can’t wait to see him , the wait is exhausting. No, it just says to email the scanned NOR to DublinIV.

I haven’t sent my notice of readiness.

I replied the initial welcome email they sent. So the subject line was RE:U.S. Embassy Dublin - K1 Visa Application. They sent me the instruction attachment I requested(it wasn’t attached to their initial welcome email).

Cause the certificate had just his current names even though we put his other names used in the application form.

My fiance went for his medical this week (a day before the embassy contacted us). But the email from the embassy stated that we need to send them the date for the medical when we book it. I really hope we haven’t made a mistake by doing the medical in advance. Was there any specific reason why they asked your fiancé to notify them of his medical date?🥺🥺

Yes, The one with the medical/police report instructions. If it does not have any applicant specific information, do you mind sharing it? So we can have an idea of what we have to get in order since it looks like they take ages to reply.

Hi, just wondering if either of you has been able to get a response from the embassy. We got the instructions email from them yesterday but the actual instructions document wasn’t attached to the email, i replied the email immediately to let them know but no response yet. I feel like i’m in a limbo which is so frustrating. I will appreciate any insight you both can share on this issue. Thank you.

No we did not receive a DS-3025 atleast not yet. That’s why we are unsure about where we stand.

Thank you for your quick reply, he hasn’t taken a Tdap vaccine in the last 10 years. He wasn’t given any document from the panel physician, our guess is he’s going to get that when he goes to pick up his report package. Guess we will just work on getting him take the Tdap. Thank you once again!

Hi everyone! I’m in the process of helping my fiancé prepare for his K-1 visa, and we recently encountered a little uncertainty regarding the medical exam and vaccinations. He had his medical exam today, and we learned that the facility doesn’t administer vaccines, so he went ahead and got the MMR, Hep B, and DTP(diphtheria, tetanus, & polio) vaccines (instead of the Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis) yesterday. We realized that he still might be missing the pertussis (whooping cough) vaccine. The doctor was impressed that he was proactive, and said he didn’t need the pertussis vaccine for his visa, but we’re not sure if that applies just to the K-1 visa or the whole Adjustment of Status (AOS) process. We really want to make sure everything is squared away now to avoid any extra costs later when he comes to the U.S. For anyone who is around the same age (27 or so) and recently went through the K-1 or AOS process, could you share if you were required to get the pertussis vaccine (as part of the Tdap)? Or if it wasn’t necessary for the visa process? Thanks so much for any insight you can provide!

I think the NOR is attached to the embassy welcome package they sent to you detailing the instructions and such.

I never received NOA1, i filed August 30. I only received a text since i filed G1145 and that was it. I reached out to them to ask for the NOA1 and I was told no notice was outstanding for me.
