  1. Incredible post - thanks for sharing!
  2. Oh no i’m sorry!! I DQ’d June 28th and my hubs interview is Nov 1st. Another person with a July 1st DQ also had an interview for Nov 1st on discord… Lots of people with later DQ’s received a letter so I don’t know why you haven’t. I would start contacting your (or your partner’s - whoever’s American) local representative & also contact the NVC at this point
  3. I realize now since looking up more info since posting this he should have put it. Honest mistake. I understand it’s not possible to update DS-260 without the NVC reopening it for you. But it’s also very normal to not update online & just inform the officer in person, as the NVC may just advise this over re-opening. Thanks for your response.
  4. Hi there - I was curious if it is necessary to list university addresses on DS-260? My husband did not list his university address, as he said he never officially changed his address anywhere for any sort of legal purpose (driver's license address always stayed the same, for example). And naturally, he always went home (where he lived before and after uni) for summer/winter break. His school was ~2.5 hrs away from his home - so not as though he moved abroad or anything. Would this be considered a temporary address? Or should he bring an updated DS-260 with him to his interview containing university addresses? We've DQ'd since June 28th. So beginning to overthink every little thing.
  5. Thank you for redirecting me to your embassy review!!! The thoroughness is incredibly helpful. Was very relieved as well to read that you only needed the 1st dose of the hep b vax. My husband has a couple vaxxes he needs that are a series and although I knew he would only need the first one, it’s comforting to know that it’s actually practiced as such. Have you moved already or awaiting your flight? Would also love to hear your experience crossing the border for the first time!
  6. I can’t speak for French birth certifs, but my husband’s British one was initially denied because it was a short-form version (didn’t contain parents’ names). Neither of us knew there were 2 different versions of the British birth certif. Check the link appleblossom left to double check something as minor as this!! Also to second appleblossom, I say resubmit asap. DQ to interview letter timeframes are increasingly unpredictable. Used to be one month to receive & one month to interview. Recently its been 2-2.5 months to receive and 2 months to interview. It will be damn near 3 months to receive for late June/early July DQ folks. Rescheduling your interview date is possible, so better to DQ asap & reschedule your interview date to a time that works best for your fam!
  7. Oh i apologize - I thought you meant Interview Letter. Yeah so likely November you’ll receive your letter since you DQ’d in the middle of the month, and your interview will be December or January 🙂 Sorry for the misunderstanding!!
  8. Not that I’m aware of.. I’ve been pooling data between here, discord, & and a little bit from a facebook messenger group-chat for london cr1’s. I would say so! Maybe November, maybe December. I wouldn’t say January most likely
  9. No 😔 June 28th here waiting as well. I’m also in a discord for London cr1’s and nothing reported there either. Last I’ve seen is that one person randomly receiving one September 6th with a June 26th DQ date, but no one else got one. And they’re also a brand new profile who hasn’t returned since (not saying its not real, but slightly sus). If its real, someone probably rescheduled their interview & the next person in line (June 26th) got that interview date. Especially since their interview date is so early (October 7th??) I am personally trying to mentally prepare for getting on Thursday Sept 26th… 😭😭😭😭😭 only to avoid the disappointment of not getting one possibly next Thursday… The only thing is, that last week of October is open. No one (online anyway) has reported having an interview date later than October 23rd. So even though us *receiving* the letter is coming later than expected, I reckon the actual date of the interview itself will still be in-line with our original expectations. I predict My hub’s interview date will be late October, and yours also late October, possibly early November. Only because that last week of October still needs to be filled. I feel you friend. We submitted i130 early may 2023 🫂 Gotta stay strong!!
  10. Hey! I know this probably isn’t the correct thread to post, but would you be willing to post somewhere about your interview experience? It was today right? I’ve kept up with your posts because they're quite informative! Hope you had a good interview!!!
  11. No problem!! I feel the same. I just want my husband here in time for Thanksgiving & the holidays!! There was that one person on this thread on the previous page reporting receiving an IL on September 6th, who was DQ’d June 26th, but based on having such an early interview date & no one else reporting on that day, I’m led to believe someone rescheduled their interview date & they were next in line. No actual *batches* of letters sent in September yet! Crossing fingers & crossing toes for us all.
  12. I was DQ’d June 28th - seems like me & my husband just missed the mark for the August IL batch 😡😡😡 totally, definitely not salty or anything…. haha. I’m on the edge of my seat every Thursday, since that’s been the typically day since early July.
