  1. I'm so sorry to hear how difficult it's been - there's always a level of difficulty with long distance relationships, and those goodbyes are brutal and are a form of grieving. My partner and I spend time together online by watching shows, playing video games together, and having calls, all of which help ease that distance a little bit more. Also having countdowns to visits and new dates make it easier for us. You got this! It will all be worth it in the end!!
  2. Hello! Was just looking to see if anyone knew how to answer this question on form I-134 i attached a screenshot since it won’t let me copy the text on my phone (?). I plan on financially providing for my fiance, giving him a place in the space I rent, and putting him on my insurance when I can. Is this what the question is asking for? Or is it asking about something else? I might be overthinking this lol thank you for the help!
  3. Yes - Last week (the 14th) I received an email with my case number, saying my case was sent to the UK embassy, and my case status on ceac changed to “Ready for Interview” on the 16th. I had sent another inquiry on the 13th about my case number which they replied to me three days later. They seem to be pretty timely with their inquiries so I would definitely try! Use the public inquiry page on the NVC site. I’ve gotten answers in a week or less :3 good luck!
  4. Our K1 Visa recently became ready for interview at the UK Embassy - we're so excited!! We're hopeful we'll be able to start our lives together by the summer Anyone else at this stage in their visa journey and feeling the excitement butterflies? Anyone nervous? Just wanted to give a place for people to share that unique feeling amongst friends :3
  5. Used this thread when my fiancé wanted to visit for Christmas for a month with an approved I-129f! Thank you! He brought things such as the approved notices and his itinerary, but the officer didn’t question him any more than usual at the POE (actually, even less - fiance told me he looked like he had a long day). Definitely reassured us to be ready!
  6. The beach! In the summer! (he's only visited during the winter, which is the most boring season for my area haha) ❤️
  7. Hi!! Just sharing my own experience so far; my NOA2 was dated for October 30th, and my case was sent to the Department of State on December 18th (my USCIS case tracker was updated with this information as well). That was exactly 7 weeks. I emailed on January 3rd to ask for an update, and got a response three days later saying they haven't gotten to it yet but have received my case. Based on the NVC Timeframes, I feel it'll be another two weeks or so, but who knows in this time and age. Best of luck to you!!
  8. This is so lovely to read !! so happy for you both!! I said goodbye to my fiancé today in hopes we will reunite soon through our K1 visa in the upcoming months. I am so happy for yall!!
  9. Hi! We filed in June 2024 and got our NOA2 at the end of October - almost 5 months. Good luck to you and hope all goes smoothly! ❤️
