  1. My mother received an interview date today. Approved on August 16, submitted every end of September and DQ last week!
  2. You add people if you are going to use their income to meet the limit. I am also married with a child but alone I make enough money to meet the guideline so the form instructions say you don’t need to prove the other person’s income. Just add tax transcript AND your W2.
  3. Mine is still showing in progress😫 the money has been gone from my account day 1.
  4. Yes, that happened to me exactly as you described. I was able to see the “receipts” under the receipts section and that was the only confirmation I had that I attempted to make a payment. Two days later I got a payment status as “rejected” and the payment showed “pay fees” again. I didn’t know that to do. No money was taken from my account so I attempted the smaller payment again and this time I got a page that said something like payment submitted. No glitches, no long loading just this page immediately after I hit the submit button. That money then showed up on my account as Hold the next day which I did not see on the first attempts so I went ahead and paid the other fee and it also submitted without an issue. Still waiting for both to show paid. But the money has been taken out of my bank account.
  5. Thank you for the info! Hoping things continue to move along. All the best to you!
  6. No email from NVC yet. Yesterday was notified by USCIS that my case was sent to NVC. My mom was approved 8/14/24. I don’t know how long it will take. I have asked other people on here who were approved before me, but did not get an answer. It seems once some get approved they never bother with responding to the questions of others or they are busier. If I get anything I will let you know.
  7. I was approved yesterday and have an approval notice. My status still says actively reviewing and my estimated time to decision changed from 11 months to 13 months this morning. Long story short, even though we want some indication of an end, the estimated time on the USCIS website is horrible.
  8. Based on their current rate of approval you should hopefully have a decision by Tuesday of next week. Hoping for a response for you!
