  1. I used them on my last two trips and got through without seeing a member of staff, but 1/2 people have informed me that they had to go to the main check in desk to get their K1 Visa checked and have their boarding pass printed by an agent since the self service kiosk didn’t allow them to print their boarding pass when they scanned their visa.
  2. Hi, Next Sunday I’ll be flying out on my K1 Visa to Dallas from Heathrow Airport. I just wanted to know if you’re still able to use BA’s Self Check-In Kiosk at the terminal, or do you have to wait for the Check-In Desk to open for a member of staff to review your Visa? I’ll be getting there 5hrs before my flight, so i wanted to know if i can go straight through or do i have to wait around in the terminal. Thanks!
  3. Currently set to fly out on October 6th, handed in my work notice last week and my last shift will be on the 2nd. I’m currently in the middle of packing my things so it’s all out of the way when I finish work.
  4. Yes, it arrived last Monday. Been busy with work all week so I haven’t been able to respond. 😅
  5. My K-1 visa was issued on Wednesday, and I received an email from the Embassy with tracking information from DX. I was able to track the delivery on Thursday morning. On Friday, I received a text saying my package was out for delivery, but it never arrived. I got an email saying it got scanned back into the DX Depot in Plymouth because the driver wasn’t able to complete all of his deliveries… Fingers crossed my passport and visa show up tomorrow. I live in Cornwall so it wasn’t ideal to go back up and collect it
  6. Since my K-1 got issued i was wondering if the US Embassy in London are still sending out “DO NOT OPEN” packets in the post or is it all done through CEAC now? I payed for my documents to be delivered from (DFX) to my home address. I’m not sure if they’re only delivering my passport or it’s going to come with that big envelope, lol.
  7. From filing our I-129F in March to approval in August, we’re extremely grateful and excited that we can finally move on and put an end to three years of long distance. I’ll be flying out to my husband to be on October 6. Texas, here we come!!!
  8. Mine needs to go to AP next then it should be Issued.
  9. Nice, mine jumped to application received around lunch time yesterday. Haven’t been updated since
  10. When did yours update to AP? they didn’t touch my case until yesterday morning since it was Bank Holiday on Monday.
  11. Thank god I’m not the only one haha, my interview was at 10:30 at the embassy in London too
  12. Thank you, I’m trying to remain as patient as possible 😅
  13. Thank you, thankfully I arranged for my passport/visa packet to get delivered to my home address so now it’s just a matter of time.
  14. I had my interview last Thursday and I was approved, earlier today I received an update on the CEAC site saying Application Received, is this one of the final steps before it’s Issued?
  15. Message I just got from BA: “Hi. Thanks for your message. If you have a non-refundable ticket it wouldn't be wise to change it to a one-way ticket as you'll have to pay a change fee and wouldn't get the fare back anyway. If you contact us after you have flown, we can see if there are any taxes that can be refunded for the return flight.” I’ll just cancel it when I land.
  16. Ok, thank you! The plan is to cancel the return trip of the journey as soon as possible when I land.
  17. Hi all, I had my K-1 interview last Thursday and was approved. I expect my visa/passport to arrive in 1-2 weeks. Originally, I planned to visit my fiancé for 2 weeks in September, as we thought the visa process would take longer, which is why I booked a return trip. Will it be okay to use the round-trip ticket while traveling with my K visa? I plan to fly out in October after changing the date of my flight and canceling the return trip when I land.
  18. Hi, My K-1 interview at the U.S. Embassy in London is next Thursday. I’m currently in the process of gathering the required documents, and I was wondering if it’s acceptable that my fiancé sent me a photocopy of part 5 which requires a ‘wet ink’ signature on the I-134 form? Thanks :)
  19. They sent me an email with my DS-3025 and confirmed that my case is currently on the way to the US Embassy.😁
  20. Okay, I’ll call them or email them tomorrow to see if they can give me any news. Did you receive your Worksheet in the post? I was told they will email me it once it’s all been approved.
  21. Last Thursday, the 8th, I attended my Visa Medical Exam in London. Everything went smoothly, except that I was informed I needed to get another COVID booster since it had been over 12 months since my last one. I was told I had to get the booster elsewhere. After the exam, I went across the city to a private clinic to receive the booster. I have since emailed proof of this to Visa Medicals, and on Friday, they replied: "We have printed off the information to be checked by the nurse. If anything further is needed, or if the nurse has any queries, she will contact you directly. If everything is now up to date, you should receive proof of this within the next couple of working days." They also mentioned in a separate email that the nurse will email me my vaccination worksheet once it’s complete. My question is, will this be enough time before my k-1 interview on the 22nd? There are two weeks between the two dates, so I’m just hoping everything will be done in time. Some people told me everything should be done in time since it’s been 3 working days already since I sent them the proof of vaccination.
  22. Thank you, Its good to know that nothing needs to be booked in advance, if the question arises during the interview, I’ll stick with the answer that I have already in my head. Good luck to you and your fiancé as well! P.S Frisco is amazing! 😅
