    Good evening everyone, This is a follow up message regarding the RFE based on pending I-485 which I received in the mail today. They’re requesting my medical. After I send this off, what should I expect? Or how long before they approve the case? Should I be worried about this new things coming up about interview?

    No I did not receive an intent to deny or any other correspondence. The last thing I got was my Vawa approval letter and C31 employment card.

    Hi everyone, My previous post is above. I called USCIS yesterday and was told that my i485 was at Vermont. Keep in mind my Vawa was approved in July and I was told that my i485 was at NBC, now yesterday they said it’s at Vermont. Today I got an update stating that they sent Request for Initial Evidence for my i485. I am very nervous and have no idea as to what they might be asking for. 1. Has anyone ever seen Vermont approve a i485 before? 2. Do you have any experience or idea as to what evidence they are requesting? 3. How long before I get the notice? I appreciate your support.

    No I did not receive the approval notice. I only got the 2 year work authorization. My thing is I placed the service request for the i485 which is out of normal processing time so why are they reviewing the VAWA instead of the i485. Also I learn that my case is now at NBC, I thought from July until now, they would transfer it to my local office.

    Good evening everyone, I shared my story back in July 2024, about my VAWA being approved. At the initial stage of filing, I filed i360, i485, i765, and i131 concurrently. Seeing that my Vawa was approved in July, I reached out to USCIS to check on my i485 which the representative state is out of normal processing time. The representative placed a service request for the i485 a few days ago (maybe a week or two). Today I got an update on my approved i360 stating that Correspondence was received and USCIS is reviewing it. I am super worried because my case was already approved and I didn’t send anything to them. Does anything know what this might be or have any experience with this? Please explain if you can.

    Hello everyone, I have been a silent reader from 2020 and My VAWA was just Approved on July 22, 2024. I filed concurrently: i360, i485, i765, and i131. I got my 5 year work and travel permit C09 back in March 2024 and travel to my home country and back without any issue. Seeing that my Vawa was approved in July, I got a 2 year work permit C31. QUESTION 1: Seeing that my VAWA is now approved and I got a 2 year work permit, am I able to still use the C09 permit for traveling purposes? Or will it become invalid because of the Vawa approval? QUESTION 2:, I am in NY, any idea how long it will take for them to transfer my case to my local office and how long it will take for them to process it? QUESTION 3: Am I still required to do an interview? How long will I be waiting before the interview or before I get my GC? Thank you for answering and I pray that God will open a Great door for his people to walk out of their immigration crisis with the victory!
