  1. Looks like they're working on them very slowly. Stay positive! - good news coming next week 🤞
  2. Superliminal has stated that he is no longer monitoring it. Looks like its locked. Not sure if he will be periodically updating it, especially with the amount of movement happening since Aug till now. 3. @spousalsponsor-Some cases might have the screen below showing the tracking numbers if you used the courier-in-authorization. Additionally, if you sent it from the postal office they likely gave you a receipt that had the tracking number on it. However, other applicants might not have shipping numbers and instead have a link to see the CEAC website (DS-260).
  4. Take their response with a grain of salt. - The consulate is proving to be very very inconsistent with its email responses and visa issuance. I think this is a cookie-cutter reply to your congressmens inquiry. Try getting your senator involved as well. For our case, we received two conflicting responses in one day (literally within 10 mins of each other). The first response was to our own inquiry and the consulate responded that they received my document (passport) and pending consular officer review and that they would contact us if anything else is required. The second response was that our case was reviewed and AP was cleared and they are now requesting another medical and passport photos, this response was after we had the senator inquire for us, mind you this is after they initially requested our passport back in August when AP first cleared. As of this moment, the consulate has all our documents as of Oct 23 and we are waiting for visa issuance. Our last case status update was last Friday Oct 29. Hoping this week we see the case status update to ISSUED, but I am not holding my breath. - I hope this helps!
  5. The consulate has been inconsistent with their IV issuance. I recall 4-5 people in the thread had all their documents in with the consulate around the same time and the time to get issued varied. Some waited 1 week (fastest) others waited 2 weeks (average) some even waited 5 weeks (longest). I am praying that next week brings a batch of happy news for most of us! - Trying to stay positive.
  6. Still refused on our end as well. Last update was 25 Oct. We like many were hoping that we would get the exciting status update, however, consulate remains inconsistent with its processes and visa issuance. 😪 Passport delivered back in august. Passport photos delivered oct 18. Medical delivered last week oct 23. Not holding my breath, but heres to hoping that a batch get issued tomorrow or early next week.
  7. Adding our last few case status updates for others who may be in the same position. Aug 8, 2024 - Passport requested. ........... Oct 8. Medical exam and passport photos requested separately from passport. Oct 10. Medical was completed. Oct 17. Passport photos delivered (did not get a case status update for this between when it was delivered and next update) Oct 22. Email received from Drs Office that the medical exam was submitted and confirmation will be sent out next day. Oct 23. Case Status Updated (confirming consulate received the medical) Oct 25. Another case status update (2 updates in one week 🙏)
  8. I think everyone's AIS website might look different. Please note that what you saw in my screenshot is documents I sent TO the consulate after they requested them. When I requested a courier-in authorization certificate my 3 pages included a QR code that the post office scanned to allow them to print the return slip. Yours might be different because your instructions might have been different. Again, it's important you follow the instructions provided to YOU by the consulate. I am still waiting for CEAC to update my case status to ISSUED. After that happens I will expect a tracking number sent to me via the AIS site or by email. For detailed information on document delivery, I suggest to review the FAQ on the AIS site: https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-ca/niv/information/faqs
  9. No updates other than a case status update earlier this week indicating medical was submitted. However, based on @tdot2nj timeline, their status updated from refused to issued 1 week after their medical was submitted by panel physican and then a 1-2 day lag for passport delivery. If the consulate is consistent (which we know they're not), we should expect to hear back next week. Otherwise, could be some more time for visa issuance. Praying to share some good news soon.
  10. Thats interesting. On my end, under status it shows "Courier-in Authorization" and the tracking numbers which are clickable and direct me to Canada Post. I think the most important thing is that you have a tracking number and got confirmation/signature of delivery. Again, as others posted above, there may be a delay/lag time between when the documents arrive to the facility and when its finally on the desk of a consular officer.
  11. Should be the first thing you see when you sign in. Your screen should be green and at the bottom it will state: Applicant Name Passport Case number Status and under status you will see the tracking number. This is if you used their courier services and sent it via the courier-in-authorization certificate.
  12. Congratulations! - at least they were a little bit competent with your case. We waited 2 months before getting a request for medical after submitting the passport. Good grief this consulate is so inconsistent. Nevertheless, CONGRATS. The end is near!
  13. if this is an immigrant visa for CR1/IR1, on the AIS website you can view the tracking number on the first page once you sign in. Its called "Courier-In Shipping Number". We sent our passport back in August, 15, and took a month for them to reply and confirm they recieved our "documents", even though we were bugging them about any other documents (ex. medical and passport photos). Only for the consulate to request additional documents 2 months after intially requesting the passport. For reference: passport photos were submitted on Oct 13 and medical exam sent to consulate today, although completed almost 2 weeks ago . So my trust in consulate responses is not 100% as they just use templated cookie-cutter responses for all, especially if they already responded to you. Its likely your documents were delivered and just pending consular review. I would wait another week and get your congress to send an inquiry as to the status of the case and if there is any other pending items.
  14. Did not need to provide DS-260. Medical office only wanted proof that the consulate had my passport, still brought a photocopy of my bio page as per their instruction. They also requested email proof of consulate of new medical request. Ill keep you updated on when we hear back, fingers crossed!
  15. @EveK - any updates on progress since? Have you completed your medical and submitted your documents and did you get any status updates? In regards to updates on our case: Aug 8. Passport requested Aug 15. Passport delivered. Jump two months later: Oct 8. Medical exam and passport photos requested separately from passport (no idea why this was the case 🙃) Oct. 10. Medical was completed (thankfully found an appointment) - shout out to Dr.Lyndon's office. Oct 17. Passport photos delivered (issues with AIS website did not allow for a creation of a courier in authorization certificate, had to request help from helpdesk which took 3 BD) We are now anticipating that the panel physician will submit our medical either today or Monday, and hoping for a quick turnaround from the consulate. Will update next week if there is any new movement. For those waiting, be patient it appears there is a light at the end of this tunnel.
