  1. We got a call yesterday from NVC. The guy said we hadn’t sent the proof of my spouses domicile. I explained it was sent and I could actually see they hadn’t been opened, I’d sent them 7 and 13 Dec. Even though he said I’d not sent them. Then he said oh yes they are there but he isn’t actually allowed to open them. So I’ve sent them yet again and the waiting continues. If they do send you an RFE for anything I would suggest adding them onto both urs and ur spouses as he said that might be why they hadn’t opened mine. Who knows but worth a try. Good luck and hope this bit goes smoother for you.
  2. Happy New Year and I hope you get it all sorted soon also. This is going to be a great year for us all.
  3. Sorry for late reply as didn’t want to think about it over Christmas. I sent everything and more as I’m x British military and moved 21 times since my 16th birthday. It took me ages to get the addresses sorted and kicked me out after 15 minutes. Also my husbands affidavit of support 10 page document world not upload as 1 so had to send as 10 pages. Still trying to prove my husband is domicile in the US after his work move to Ecuador. As with USCIS they ask me to send things I’ve already sent. Contacted them twice to try to speak to a real person. On 23 Dec my husband got an email to say our case wasn’t moving forward as it should. Someone is supposed to call in 10 business days. Hopefully urs won’t be as frustrating and we can all move forward in 2025.
  4. Submitted 4 Nov and like with USCIS asking for things I’ve already sent. Spouses part all approved but still waiting for my side. Also requested a move of embassy for my interview as husband moved for his job. The consulate gave receipt received my request but NVC saying I’m still down as with the U.K. nothing is simple but trying to stay positive.
  5. That’s wonderful new. What a great Christmas gift. I’m still waiting for the NVC approval but guess that will be next year.
  6. I’m about to start my DS260 and they need ever address since I was 16. Going to be a challenge after serving 25 years in the military. Oh well at least I’m a step closer. Wishing all those still waiting good luck.
  7. Pretty similar to what I got but fingers crossed it might mean that you case has been looked at. I hope you get good news soon.
  8. It took me ages but I asked which location my application was with. They confirmed Texas. Then asked how long and they said 14.4 months. Also asked if they had everything to make a decision and they said yes. But less than 2 hours later I received the RFE request. Good luck as I know how frustrating this wait is.
  9. It’s can take a while, took me 4 attempts. I hope this helps you to get approved.
  10. Have you gone on line and spoken to Emma. I did that at they then sent me a request for further information (RFE). I sent it and then got approved a couple of days later. My PD was 18 Jul. I’m not sure that it helped but would be worth a try. Good luck and congratulations.
  11. I was hoping you had been approved also. Fingers crossed this week for you.
  12. Yes mine is 5 months also. Trying to stay positive.
