  1. Fair enough about the quality of evidence. I was pretty thorough, submitted everything we had: leases from when we started dating (8+ years), 7 years worth of bank accounts showing same address including every address change, 3 years of joint investment account statements, beneficiary info on all retirement accounts, 1095Bs with spouse listed, joint tax transcripts for every year since the wedding, joint car insurance statements for 5+ years, copies of car titles showing shared ownership, copies of every driver's license from moves across 3 states from before the wedding all showing same address for both, affidavits, travel tickets and receipts documenting our travels together, photos, plus other miscellaneous receipts showing both our names.
  2. Hi all, March 2023 I-751 filer, N-400 filed in Feb 2024. Just got mail from the local USCIS field office titled "Courtesy Notice for Marital Bona Fides". The letter goes on to ask me to submit, by mail and directly to the field office, "evidence that you and your petitioning spouse continue to reside in martial (sic) union for purposes of removing your conditional permanent residence." Has anyone seen a letter like this? Is it a request for evidence (doesn't use that language anywhere) or a courtesy notice? As part of my I-751 app, I submitted 500+ pages of evidence of marital union. I'm wondering if I should submit all of that evidence again on top of everything since March 2023. (The "courtesy letter" doesn't specify.) Wondering also if I should get a lawyer since I didn't use one for the original filing. Straightforward case, we are still together, living together, comingled finances, long history of relationship (5 years of marriage). Edit: No updates to myuscis case status for this message.
