    Hello, does anyone know what is the timeline for Yerevan consulate for IR-1/CR-1 visa. I have been DQ August 23 but timeline in Abu Dhabi is horrendous. Was wondering if Yerevan is a better option to move my documents. I have only 3 options Abu Dhabi, Ankara or Yerevan 🙏🏻

    To my 🇮🇷 fellow, 

    I am resident of UAE and been DQ in August 2023. Abu Dhabi embassy is the busiest and slowest in processing interviews. 
    1) can I move my documents to another embassy through NVC? 
    2) In which embassies Im eligible to apply? 
    3) where do I have my best luck for quickest interview timeline? 

    4) can immigration lawyer be any help in speeding up the process?

      No, an immigration lawyer won't help you jump the line. You can't 'consulate shop', you do have to be resident in a country to request a transfer there, so where are you living now?

      Im a resident in UAE. Ive heard  Iranians can chose among few embassies cause theres no embassy in Iran. 
      not sure if its truth 🤷🏻‍♀️

      Yes, if there isn't a consulate then they'll be able to choose i.e Ankara. But if you're already resident somewhere else then you'd have to request a consulate transfer and it's usually only granted to residents of that country. Just search the forum for 'consulate shopping' for info.

    Thanks for your reply 🙏🏻 how can I do that? my documents are at National Visa Centre and we are told to wait to have an appointment first. You mean I can contact and ask to change the location to somewhere else? I saw Naples is 15 days. i found attached article (not sure if accurate) but Yrevan not on the list. Can you help please on how I could change the location? 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

    My husband and daughter are America and I am Iranian. He has finished his contract and we need to depart from Abu Dhabi soon. I managed to get a tourist visa for now but unfortunately due to nationality its short term and single entry. Stressed and hopeless re appointment time. Can someone please send Telegram link or join me to the group please? .🙏🏻
