I submitted a genuine marriage certificate, marriage pictures, moments shared, vacation pictures we took together. Screenshots of video chats with her family. Original land documents of a piece of land we both bought in Nigeria, copies of e-mails and chat e.t.c.

We met in Dubai first, stayed for 2 weeks together, met in Nigeria, stayed for another 2 weeks, got married in between… then vacationed in the Maldives and lived another 2 week. That’s 6 weeks total

Yes, I agree with the large age gap. However, I have provided them with evidence of genuine relationship/marriage. We met on an online church platform. We’ve been together 3 times, 6 weeks in total. First was in Dubai where I was residing at the time, second was in Lagos, Nigeria, where we got married and third was when we both vacationed in the Maldives 🇲🇻 we spent 2 weeks during each meeting.

Hello everyone, I attended my Spousal Interview at the Lagos Embassy Dec 18th 2023, I have since been placed on Administrative Processing and was told “no action should be taken by me.” It’s barely 8 months since my interview and I have not heard from the Embassy. When I call or email them, it’s the same “we will get back to you as soon as the review is completed” bla bla. At the interview, all was going well until the visa officer asked how old I am and my spouse. I’m 34, my spouse is 74. Does age really matter or could that be a reason refusal/denial? Also, my “case last updated” has changed 8 times now. Please I need help… I’m losing my mind already 🥺🙏
