  1. We were approved! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
  2. Thank you! I thought I was the only one thinking it was confusing.
  3. It gave us the same issue. We had to clear our cookies and then sign in before clicking the link they provided. I wanted to confirm with one of you. We’re suppose to pick the immigrant option, right?
  4. Did you have any issue signing in to register for the visa appointment? Did you have any issue signing in to register for the visa appointment?
  5. We got a response too this morning! We’re also set for July!!!! 🥹🙏
  6. My fiancé and I have not heard anything back either.
  7. This is what the instructions provide.
  8. I don’t think that’ll affect you. We didn’t get a response when we notified them of our date. Plus the notice of readiness states that it should be submitted when you have everything completed including the sealed medical report. We sent the NOR as soon as we found out the sealed packet was ready for pick up.
  9. That’s so frustrating! I would’ve expected a more efficient system for handling these processes by now. The first time we reached out, their quick response set an expectation, so it’s disappointing that it’s now taking much longer, especially when we’re so close to the final steps. I really hope they get back to you soon! I know it’s case by case, but I truly hope you're next in line for the interview. After 10 weeks of hard work, the waiting is discouraging, but I’m staying hopeful for you! Please keep us posted. HappyPlace, The instructions packet will provide detailed guidance for completing the DS-160 form, emphasizing the importance of accuracy and completeness. It will also include a list of required documents for your interview: - Valid passpor - Sealed medical exam - Two passport-size color photos (5 cm × 5 cm or 2 in × 2 in, taken within the last six months) - Confirmation page of the DS-160 form - Birth certificate (long form) and a photocopy - Divorce certificate (if applicable) and a photocopy - Police certificates from Ireland and any country where you’ve lived for more than six months, including all names and aliases used - Court/criminal records (if applicable) and a photocopy - Military records (if applicable) and a photocopy - Evidence of financial support (I-134 form) along with an IRS transcript or a copy of the most recent federal income tax return - Official translations for any documents not in English The packet will also include a list of approved medical locations and Notice of Readiness I know it can be nerve-wracking to reach out, especially early on, but persistence is key. Don’t hesitate to email them to request the instructions packet until they do so you can move forward with the next steps. The sooner you have it, the better prepared you'll be!
  10. Hi, Unfortunately we haven’t heard anything from them either. We emailed them at the start of this week with our NOR & I assumed that it would take a couple of days for a response. Though it’s been since the start of April since we’ve had any contact with them after we notified them of the medical appointment. My fiancé is going to attempt calling them for a status update. If we’re unlucky with that we’ll resort to another email.
  11. That’s what we did. Our questions primarily fell under “Other”. Best of luck, I hope they’re able to give you an official date!
  12. I used the google docs from their portal. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSccDF9OLAhgHjcBQcNf5G_mJBobtmP_4tzy8tYHhaAyT7iQww/viewform which directed me to email for my specific question. USVisaDublin@state.gov They ask for the format to be exact in order for them to respond. They took 3 days max to get back to me and other days I got feedback 2-3 hours after sending them any other questions.
  13. Hi Lola, We haven’t submitted ours yet. We’re planning to send it after the 30th, depending on when we receive the medical packet. The Dublin consulate has been really helpful whenever we’ve reached out via their email system—they even called my fiancé the first time we contacted them. I’d recommend reaching out to them for more information, as they’ve been quite responsive. By the way, how long did it take for you to get the sealed results after the medical exam? Our validity date is in May, and I’m a bit concerned we might need to request an extension.
  14. My apologies for the delay. I have updated my timeline.
  15. Thank you for the response HappyPlace. It turns out it is in the packet. We hadn’t received it til this morning so we were very confused as to what they were asking us to do. We thought they meant to check the portal for the form.
  16. Hello everyone, I am having a challenging time. My fiancé and I have reached out to the embassy in Dublin for further guidance since it seems that they do their process different than what I’ve seen on the flow chart for the k-1. Our last email from them states “Thank you for your email. Please read all the Fiancée instructions information. When you have all the required documents and wish to continue your visa process, please fill out the Notice of Readiness form with all information, and forward it by PDF attachment.”. Can anyone point me in the right direction of the Notice of Readiness form for the Dublin embassy? Any further guidance would be greatly appreciated.
  17. Hi everyone! I have not received my Welcome letter from the NVC. I’ve sent them a number of emails requesting a copy be sent since they’ve already sent my paperwork over the to Dublin consulate/embassy. Did anyone else have this issue similar to this? Can anyone provide me with advice on how to proceed? I’ve attached a copy of an email I was sent after multiple attempts of getting a copy.
  18. Hello everyone, We have completed the I-134 form, and I’ve requested the supporting document from my bank. However, the bank informed me that their system cannot calculate the total amount deposited over the past year. In this case, would bank statements be acceptable to submit as supporting documentation? Alternatively, what methods have others used to obtain the required documentation?
  19. I’m in the process of collecting all documentation for the I-134. In the guide for the k-1, it suggests to get documentation from the Bank officer. Would it be ok to get it from the teller or would I have to speak to someone specifically to acquire the documentation?
  20. Thank you for clearing that up! Very much appreciated!
  21. Does that mean I skip part 1? As I am the petitioner and not the beneficiary?
  22. Hello everyone! I’ve just received NOA2 and have started gathering documentation that I need to send my Fiancée. In the process I saw that form I-134 needs to be filled out. However, I’m unsure if either me or my fiancée (beneficiary) is the one that suppose to fill it out. We read the instructions and I think we confused one another and now we just need some clarification. Who is suppose to fill out the I-134 Form?
  23. Hello everyone, I understand that wait times can vary for each case. I submitted my application in August this year and have been checking the Case Status on the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services website, but there hasn’t been any update. My question is, does the Receipt Number from the initial Notice of Action (NOA) remain the same throughout the entire process and update accordingly?
  24. Hello, can anyone help? I am in the process of filling out the I-129F form and I’ve come across an issue. On the form it asks “If your beneficiary is currently in the United States, complete Item Numbers 38.a. - 38.h.” Which I’d assume would be left blank since my finance is back in Ireland. However, in the instructions is states “If your beneficiary used a passport or travel document to travel to the United States, enter the passport or travel document information in the appropriate space on the petition, even if the passport or travel document is currently expired.” So my question is do I enter the info in items 38.a. - 38.h. even though my fiancé is not currently in the US?
