  1. I feel like in this process every day is an eternity so I would veer toward sending it immediately via your family (make sure it’s courier to then obviously). Especially with them trying to catch up on backlogs now, you don’t want to lose your spot in the queue (if there is one when you actually get the email). I sent mine over 2 weeks ago and they confirmed by email on aug 26th that they had all my documents once the medical was sent to them. No updates since but someone else who also got confirmation that they had their documents on the 26th had their visa issued by the 30th. Hoping to hear some good news this coming week. Good luck! @ken5535karma
  2. All the best to you and your family! Congrats on getting through this hard time. Have you been emailing them? I can’t help but think something fell through the cracks here.
  3. Hey! I had to change my address too - call the AIS service number and they can make the change directly for you. I wasn’t able to make the change myself. They also helped me make sure I got the PDF - you absolutely need it when mailing documents because one of the pages actually goes in the envelope along with your other documents and then you keep the other page for when you pick up I believe.
  4. Hey everyone, in case anyone is in this situation. I called the contact number on the AIS website and they did the change for me for the drop off and pick up location. I was not able to change it myself. They were very helpful. I also emailed the embassy informing of address change but no response yet. It should not impact being able to send the passport though as I believe it’s more administrative. Our ds-260 is locked so we could not change it ourselves.
  5. So I wasn’t able to change my address on AIS website. I think it’s because it has to match the ds-260 info. I just don’t see the option to change it? I emailed the consulate to confirm process but has anyone had this experience?
  6. I found that Leo the Great responded to a similar question on page 117 and we can change our address on the AIS website.
  7. Hey all, Congrats to all and my prayers to everyone. It has been the hardest few months, so I know what you’re all feeling. We also received our email to send our updated medical, new photos and passport to the embassy on August 6th. Interview was on January 8 2024. We had 3 recent updates (July 25, Aug 1, Aug 6 with none since January). Question - I moved cities since the interview so I can’t pick up my passport from the place I set it to in the AIS website. Is the process to update the ds-260 first or to email them or to change the address in the AIS website ? Would appreciate the advice if anyone had this experience.
