  1. Did you try to call FedEx to see why that happened? That’s odd mine just said delivered and signed. This is the address I used:
  2. Ah ok! In my case the package wasn’t accepted by the consulate at all. Looks like yours is on the right track, might just take a bit of time for them to process that they’ve received it
  3. Hi, my passport that I sent through BLS also got returned without anything. Are you sure the consulate ever received it? When I went to go pick up from BLS they said that the delivery at the consulate was refused, and they are having issues delivering to Montreal - all the packages are getting refused. They said they will look into why. I took my package back since they tried to send it twice and it was refused both times.
  4. I ended up sending my stuff today through Fedex. Kind of a risk I think? It should get there on Monday morning so I'll let ya'll know how that goes. I originally sent through the courier service in BLS International, which was the recommended courier in my city but the package kept getting refused.

  6. Hi all! For those who didn’t use the courier service specified by consulate , which address did you send the documents to? I already tried courier service twice and package keeps getting sent back without being delivered! Not sure what’s going on so going to try to send through Canada post this time. This is the address I have: US Consulate General Montreal 1134 rue Sainte-Catherine O suite 100 montreal, QC h3b1h4 canada is this correct? thank you!
  7. hi all! I sent my passport to the consulate sept 25th. They said they never received it. I went to the courier service and they said it looks like the tracking says “shipment refused” and it should be sent back by purolator. There were 2 attempts for delivery both refused. I printed the courier in receipt label thing from the AIS website, courier service says all looks normal so they are not sure what happened. has anyone else experienced this? I’m wondering what I should do once I get my passport back.
  8. Hey mine looks the same. How did you get the tracking number from Canada post? I sent my documents September 25th by courier as well but wasn’t sure how to track it since I don’t remember getting a tracking number
  9. Interesting, I emailed AIS and they said I shouldn’t expect any status change or a tracking number until they mail my passport back. It’s inconsistent with your page though 😕 Now I’m just hoping it’s not lost, that would really be the cherry on top of this whole thing lol
  10. Oh thank you! It looks different on my end, not sure if my status is correct as I’ve already sent the documents
  11. Wow that is so frustrating! I hope you get back your passport soon, maybe we will be in the same batch! I couldn’t find the shipping number once I log into the AIS website, where exactly on the page do you see that?
  12. Hi all! I sent my passport and new photos etc via courier to the consulate on Sept 25th for visa stamping. Was I suppose to receive some sort of tracking number or anything? I emailed the consulate and they haven’t given a clear response on whether they have received my passport yet. We got senate office to contact them, and they said they haven’t received it yet. I was under the impression courier service only takes 2/3 days. Any advice on how I can figure out where my passport is? On sept 27th (2 days after drop off) I got an email from that AIS system where I generated the courier label titled “Confirmation of visa documents received at a Service location”. Is this just a confirmation that i dropped off the documents or that it was delivered to Montreal? The consulate is saying that’s just a confirmation of drop off. any advice? 16 months since my interview now and I am ready for all this to be over
