  1. Thanks, it logically doesn't even make sense to lie about 2 months for my father's birth date anyways, but they seem to be very nitpicky these days, maybe to even buy themselves time to process applications, that's why I got scared.
  2. I've recently received a request for initial evidence for my I-485 application, asking for my birth certificate. When I obtained a more detailed one, I've realized that my father's date of birth in the official records in 02/20, whereas I've written it as 04/15 in my I-485. The issue is that he's from a rural part of Turkey and it was very common to have these registered wrong at that time, and we even celebrate his birthday on 04/15. I have no idea how to clarify this in my response letter. I work with an attorney and will take his opinion as well, but here's what I've written: "My father’s official record for his date of birth was born on 02/20/1963 (in dd/mm/yyyy format), as evidenced by my birth certificate. However, I used "04/15/1963" as his date of birth. For his birth date, it was a mistake in the registration after his birth which was very common in the rural parts of Turkey at that time, and I have always known his birthday to be 04/15/1963. I confirm that his legal date of birth documented in Civil Registration and Citizenship offices of Turkey is 02/20/1963." I'm very anxious and concerned if this jeopardizes my application in any way. Please let me know how I should address this
  3. Title. I'm a Turkish PhD student applying on I-485 based on approved EB2-NIW. Even though I didn't get the RFIE in mail so I don't know if they sent the RFIE for my birth certificate, I'm fairly certain it's the reason because I submitted my sealed envelope medical exam and everything else. I sent Formula A for my I-485 (EB2-NIW based). Can it be the reason? I went to the Consulate and they gave me a document with blue seal, with English translations, and said they give this to everyone applying for greencard. They also attached Vukuatli Nufus Kaydi, the same on e-devlet but in Turkish and told me to send it anyways. Other possibilities are, my medical exam had Insufficient Time Interval for Polio and TDAP vaccines as I got one does and the second and third one were separated by some time apart. My civil surgeon said 1 dose is sufficient for USCIS purposes. I'm doing a summer internship so I got an employment document from company and not my school, so do they need a document confirming my continued employment for PhD? Please help
