I'm currently awaiting my EB3 unskilled petition with a priority date of December 27, 2021 via consular processing in Philippines. They mentioned that they will file a new I-140 for me, as they claim I can't use my previously approved I-140 due to it being in a different category. I'm unsure whether I should wait for my previous priority date to become current and take the NCLEX once I'm in the US, or if I can apply for the new opportunity without affecting my previous application.
