Hi everyone, My husband got his IL for March 11 in Sydney, Aus [visa type is CR1]. He booked his medical for March 3 at MedicalOne in Sydney. Is the medical results mailed directly by MedicalOne to the embassy/consulate before the interview? I’m a bit worried with the timeframe if they are instead actually mailed to the home address and we would then need to mail it to the embassy and hope they would receive it before the interview. If it’s the latter, should we reschedule the medical to an earlier date? Thank you for your help.

Thank you. My husband hasn’t gotten his interview letter yet but assume it might be within a few months. He just got the serology test from a GP and is getting his vaccines now. They said it might take a few weeks to receive all the vaccines, but I was getting worried in case he didn’t receive all of them by the time he got the medical appointment. But yes he will be taking his vaccination record with him! I wanted to make sure that the medical center also provides the vaccine during the appointment in case of time constraint plus I heard around that polio is needed before the medical appointment but perhaps that’s for a different country. Thanks!

Hello, Visa category is CR-1. Is it possible to get the polio vaccine during the medical? Or is it required that we have it before? Thanks!

@Crazy Cat thank you. Is it common even for those having interviews in Islamabad? Or usually just those having interviews outside of the country?

I’ve heard some Pakistani Nationals living in Australia have been put in AP and it’s been taking many months. Any info on this and will it happen to every Pakistani National? ( my husband is born and raised in Pakistan but living in Australia on a temporary visa).
