    Hello everyone, quick update on this. My wife work permit still haven’t come in yet. I check online and it still says the same thing. But my wife got an interview for green card next month. question about this is, how long after the interview will she get her card? I am assuming that they might do it faster and not send the work permit. what are the questions they will be asking on the interview? How should we prepare for this? What documents should we take? Do we take pictures as well? Please give me suggestions. thank you

    Hey @PokuPoku we haven’t heard anything from uscis about my wife work permit. It’s been over 100 days now. For her green card it says they need more info so they sending a paper out with what they need so we waiting for that. This has taken way too long.

    Yes I know that and I told the lawyer that we got married and everything within 90. But when he filled for work permit and green card not sure why he applied for that aswell when that isn’t required.

    Hello, so my wife came in k-1 visa to USA and we got married and all. We filled for work permit and green card together but while doing that my lawyer filed for I-130 no idea why. Will that application make my process for work permit and green card slow? If so how do I withdrawal that application? My lawyer isn’t helpful at all. I need some help… will uscis see that she is already in USA and void the application? Because I’ve already gotten a letter saying they have received the papers… I am confuse on what to do. Someone with some expertise help me

    Hmmm cause my lawyer said he sent in inquiries. I tried to talk to agent online but they said they can’t give me any info

    I did check it said 3.5months and it’s been 4months so we did inquiries but I haven’t heard back from that too. It went to nbc

    Hello everyone, my wife came in k-1 visa and we got married and all that good stuff. We filled for green card and work permit together. She did her fingerprint on may 14th. I still haven’t heard anything from uscis after that and the lawyer isn’t that helpful. The screen is stuck on “show fingerprint has been taken”. The people who did it days after her already got their work permit but we haven’t gotten any yet. Does anyone know why this is happening? The uscis website keep telling fingerprint taken but nothing else

    Hello, I submitted my wife work permit application I-765 on the Dec 30th. I haven’t gotten any letter saying they have received it, and I don’t have my receipt number to track it. Can anyone help me? I want to know if they got it or not. How do I check other than receipt number?

      Your courier tracking should tell you if it was delivered? Or check to see if payment has been taken.

    Good morning, everyone, me and my fiancé got married and got the marriage certificate from the court. we are trying to apply for green card and i was wondering if she has to do immunization medical exam here again in the USA? she had her medical exam in Nepal prior to doing her interview for k-1 visa so i was wondering if she still has to do it here or not. please do guide me through this thank you

    i am just asking in general like we did self-uniting marriage and on the duplicate certificate it is require to put where our weeding was. i was wondering if we can put our home address since there where we did it. it need the address and signature of 2 witnesses

    Hello, so me and my fiancé applied for self-uniting marriage on our marriage application. we got our marriage license giving us permission to do weeding and have 2 witnesses sign it saying yes, they did get married. in our culture we don't do weeding outside since i already did that when i went to get her in her country. when she enters my house, we just did a little ceremony in the house. on the marriage duplicate paper that we have to return back to court to get our marriage license can I put my home address for a place I did my weeding here? in self-uniting marriage you don't need a judge to vow you. this is for the State of Pennsylvania. If anyone could help i would really apricate it. thank you

    she does speak english but she is not fluent in english. i am wondering if they will do the interview in nepali or english..
